Psion Intimidation Phrases

Hello playground,

I am searching for some intimidating phrases that a psion could use in our campaign. My character Eldrin has to keep the other party members in check (They are VERY unstable) by threatening them with his psionic abilities. So, anything along the lines of "I can kill you with my mind" or "Your mind is a fragile piece of glass that I can shatter with a single thought" is very much appreciated

I dunno about you, but that would inspire me to either attempt an assassination while the psion was sleeping or (if I didn't think I could pull it off) fleeing. :smalleek:

What level are we looking at? I want to make sure I give you threats that you can back up. :smallsmile:

Well, how optimized is your psion? Are you a Convert Spell to Power Erudite with a Psicrystal, the Mantled Erudite option (with something nice like Freedom Mantle), Hidden Talent taken, etc. etc.? There is a point when you can set things up so you WON'T give the rest of the party a chance to put a dagger in your back... after all, if you get a Divine to Arcane and thence to psionic version of Lesser Restoration, you don't have to sleep, and could be wary all the time. Also, are you an Elan?

Ivellios: Level 4 Ranger elf
Brotar: level 3 Barbarian half-orc
Malphon: level 3 wizard human

Er...wait. If they're your comrades, why do you need to keep them in line with threats? And if you're threatening them, why would they stay your comrades instead of murderfacing you in your sleep? Four on one when the one is a squishy caster are bad odds, you won't be able to enforce much discipline alone.

All of the other players refused to learn 3.5 and 4e rules for whatever reason. So I had to make do.

My wording is wrong, my bad. Basically, my character doesn't want to screw up, the other players have conflicts that often impair their judgement. He doesn't care for the other party members (although he will later) he just needs them for backup.

Keep it short and sweet, I say - like the Borderlands action skill epithets, it should be condescending/taunting in tone (you're rewriting reality by thinking at it after all) and related in some way to what you're doing (so the dullards you're adventuring with can follow along, you see.)

please don't make me jealous, I have no real time for pc gaming (or console for that matter) at the moment but I want to play BL2 so bad :smallfrown:

On topic: use telepathy and just idly comment on what he's thinking and how silly those notions are with remarks like:
"Are you sure you think that?"
"I don't think so..."
"Think again..."
"Who woudl have though you'd be so [adjective]..."

and my favorite (not only becuse of the Hitch Hikers Guide):
"Resistance is futile!"

Disclaimer: intimidating your partymembers will probably have adverse effects. Use with extreme caution.
