Are there any great options for fighting in the same square as allies?

Is there any homebrew or source material that allows you to ignore the corporeality of another creature only, such as to pass through them and not others?

Swarm fighting from CWar, but you have to be small.

Do you see a problem with granting larger creatures the same square-ignore ability? How powerful would it be balanced?

Not from 3.5 but I believe in Pathfinder the Ratfolk from bestiary 3 can, well at least 2 of them can be in the same square. I'd say it's something that should be for only the smaller races, though I doubt it would really affect balance at all.
