Retraining Maneuvers

If you dip a level in swordsage early on, is there any way to later change your maneuvers to higher level ones you can now access because of the 1/2 initiator level from other classes?

If you get to Swordsage 4, then yes: you can replace one maneuver with any other maneuver you qualify for. You can do this again on each even Swordsage level.

But otherwise, no, at least not without a DM who's generous. I personally do houserule it to be based on IL, rather than Swordsage level, but that's strictly a houserule.

Those retraining rules require that you have been able to qualify for whatever you're retraining to when you would have gotten it. So, for example, I can't retrain my 2nd level fighter bonus feat to Weapon Specialization because I wouldn't have qualified for it at 2nd level.
