As I was walking home from campus today, I started thinking, "I really like playing sorcerers." So pretty much, I just ideas on how to build a super cool sorcerer, AKA most fun.

I pretty much only play 3.5, and have access to various books, but most of the abbreviations I don't understand, so if your idea is from a book that isn't the PHB, please write out the title of the book (so I can find it)

If possible, a level by level guide to feats, skills, spells, and items?

This character does not exist yet, so I have not rolled stats or anything, mainly because I do not know what campaign I could play him in.

Your input is appreciated!

This (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19871358/Short_Sorcerer_Handbook) and this (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74801) are good places to start.

Fun? Sorcerer 5/Dread Witch 5 (Heroes of Horror)/Nightmare Spinner 5 (Complete Mage)/Full Casting PRC 5 or Sorcerer 5.

Watch your enemies crap their pants with fear! This build, with the right feats and spell choices was so much fun. Played at 19th level as a Spellscale (races of the Dragon) for higher Charisma. Loses some caster levels, but just play a race with no LA to save one.

Complete Mage has an alternate class feature that can actually make a 20-level sorcerer fairly tough. It's called Stalwart Sorcerer and it nets you 2 extra hit points for each sorcerer level, plus martial weapon proficiency and weapon focus for a melee weapon of your choice.

I have seen Dwarven Stalwart Sorcerers with Improved Toughness who had hit points to rival the melee characters in the party.
