As in, whenever I hold it, it has a Righteous Might in effect?

I am new to this crafting thing, but I am doing it in my party for RP reasons as a cleric and could use some pointers. I am a couple levels away from being able to use RM, but it would be nice to know what this kind of thing would take ahead of time

Not sure this works by RAW but it sounds awesome. As a DM, I would allow it. I see nothing that says you can't do it. (This said, I'm sure someone will disprove me on that, away from books so I can't check)

I'm just saying that I could, theoretically, make a pair of gloves with the spell on it continuous and it would be no biggie, assuming I had craft wondrous item, right?

so whats wrong with making a greatclub that makes me go a size larger with appropriate bonuses to strength and constitution as I wield it?

Just don't forget, there's errata (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/er/20040125a) on Righteous Might so it only gives half the bonuses (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/righteousMight.htm).

Kind of. There's Guidelines for it (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/creatingMagicItems.htm#tableEstimatingMagicItemGol dPieceValues), but they're really just ways of estimating things, and are intended for DM use. Ultimately, your DM needs to decide whether it's right for his campaign or not.
