Hi all -

The family is getting into Magic the Gathering. Way back in the day, there were several excellent online merchants with great full-box prices. Potomac Distribution was always my favorite, but they seem to not offer the last several MtG sets.

Can anyone (or several anyones) offer some suggestions on other reliable sources for discounted product?

Thanks for your time -

Potomac, man that is going back a ways.

The volume of cards solds today is a lot higher than it used to be, and a lot of web sellers have been aggregated through tcgplayer.com. Also I believe Wizards flattened the supply chain, so they sell more directly to game stores instead of through 3rd parties. Which means there's less opportunity for you to skip the retailer.

If you go to tcgplayer.com site they'll list several sellers, the box price, and their inventory count. Of course you can look around to individuals: "troll & toad" and "alpha beta unlimited" are two of the oldest providers around and they're still competitive. But you're probably looking about $105 for a box with little variation.
