So, I am playing a character in a 3.5 game who happens to have the outsider type. I am wondering what nice things I can really get aside from Alter Self. I am thinking in terms of PrCs or Feats and things.

Outsiders get auto prof. with martial weapons and there are a lot of PRCs that require it with some or all of them. There is that. Spellsword, abjurant champion, knight phantom, for example.

If you also have the [evil] subtype, or can get it, there's a couple of PrC's in the Fiend Folio for you, but otherwise I don't think being an outsider has much going for it beyond alter self shennanigans.

As an outsider, you don't need to eat or sleep, which is kind of nice.

What outsider are you btw?

Unless he's got the Native subtype.

I am actually using a modified bit of the ghostwalk ghosts. Thats how I am an Outsider.

And I could probably get the [Evil] subtype, the game is fairly dark and I am not that nice...

[Evil] subtype, I'm pretty sure, has nothing to do with your actual alignment. It just means that you're a fiend.

While this is true, there's a ritual described in Savage Species that can get you an alignment subtype.

Ghostwalk's ghost template is a bit rough. You're really not getting much from it beyond being incorporeal. Given the headaches that come with that, I'd see about trying to get brought back to life unless you're going to do the alter self thing.
