1. Campaign is pirate themed
2. Campaign has NO good aligned
3. I want to have a large pool of undead minions
4. Paizo publications are allowed, but no homebrew or 3rd party

Normally I am not one to power-game, but the rest of the party is . . . fairly low powered and paizo campaigns are not known for being easy.

Wizard and witch are int based and have little use of cha, which makes controlling the undead seem a lot harder. Though the draw of their spell lists is very strong.

I was heavily considering oracle until I came across Dhampir and its cleric favored class ability. My DM has decreed that he reads the class ability to allow a dhampir cleric +1 HD of undead commanded by the feat command dead, per time I choose the favored class bonus.

Which means, if I am reading it right, that the Dhampir undead lord cleric - would be able to command 40 hit dice worth of undead and would have a 20-hit-dice skeleton companion.

This would be in addition to normal animate dead spells.

pro - lots of zombies
con - playing a dhampir makes healing interesting
con - cleric spell list is not as interesting as wiz/witch

The other option would be oracle of bones or Juju.
pro - FAR less MAD
pro - Could play something besides dhampir
con - limited spell list

Any thoughts or opinions? What makes for the strongest undead master?
