Alright, just jotting something off before running to class:

Instead of getting a Concentration check, you instead get a Will save, against a DC of 10+1/2 Attacker's BAB+whatever ability score modifier they use for attack rolls+the number of precision damage dice they get.

There are feats and such for martial characters that move the save from Will to either Fort (you "mundane counterspelled" by punching the mage in the gut; they have to start breathing again before they can complete that damn spell) or ?Reflex?.

Spells should take a round to cast in battle, with feats like Mobile Caster allowing you to essentially cast them as a Standard action by letting you move a bit while casting (at some penalty to any Defensive Casting checks.)
