I'm looking for rogue character inspiration. Novels, short stories, fan art, anything rogue other than the basic D&d rogue handbook.
(Edit) BowStreetRunner you nailed what I'm looking for right on the head, any type of rogue from traditional to nontraditional and everything in-between

Ever read the Vlad Taltos (http://dragaera.wikia.com/wiki/Vlad_Taltos) series by Steven Brust? Not exactly your traditional rogue, but then, who really wants to be merely a traditional rogue anyway?

The Thief trilogy by Megan Whalen Turner. It's been years and I only read 2 of them, but they were great.

Silk (or Prince Kheldar (or Radek of Boktor (or Ambar of Kotu))) from The Belgariad, and the sequel series The Mallorean was a fantastic thief character; I've never read the books, so take this with a grain of salt, but maybe the gray mouser?

Fritz Leiber's Gray Mouser isn't bad.

Burn Notice (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burn_Notice) has several flavors of spy to choose from.
