I'm wanting to build a Warforged Dweomerkeeper with the Archivist class. My problem that I am currently running into is that the DM is limiting the available books to the following.

All Core
All Eberron
All Completes
MiC and SC

The game starts at Lvl 6 with normal WBL. No flaws, 2 traits.

What I want to do is get into Dweomerkeeper without losing any caster levels and I need the playgrounds help as to how to do this best.

The skill and feat prerequisites aren't a big deal. But casting arcane and divine spells as well as possessing the magic domain makes this a tricky proposition, since Archivist doesn't get domains.

Contemplative would seem the most likely avenue to get the Magic domain, unless you want to dip cleric too which I would not recommend.

So maybe Archivist 3 / Wizard 3 / Mystic Theurge 4 / Contemplative 1 / Dweomerkeeper 9

The problem with Contemplative is that it prevents you from taking that very nice 10th level. Something that I'd like to do if possible. Also, your build there loses several caster levels.

The substitute domain spell from Complete Champion makes the magic domain requirement trivial, due to its days/level duration it's easy to keep active 24/7. Just pick up any prestige class that gives you a domain, then trade it out. If you actually want a smattering of wizard casting in your build, you could do this:
Archvist4/wizard1/divine oracle1/theurge4/dweomerkeeper10

Precocious apprentice allows for only 1 wizard level. Frog God's Fane in Complete Scoundrel can get you skill focus (religion) without needing to spend one of your level up feats on it.

If you can beg for the magical training feat from Player's Guide to Faerun, that lets you cast three level 0 arcane spells, and that would qualify you without a wizard level.

Assuming substitute domain doesn't work to qualify (most DM don't allow PRC qualification out of a temporary feature or, if they do, tie the feature loss with the loss of all class feature derived from it)

Option A:
Wizard 1 (Scribe scroll, Any metamagic feat)
Archivist 4 (Arcane disciple: Magic)
Dweomerkeeper 1+ (Open)
Uses the Arcane disciple feat to qualify for the "Domain: Magic" requirement. RAW it doesn't work but it's worth to check with your DM
Loses 1 CL, lvl 6 entry.

Option B:
Wizard 1 (Scribe scroll, Any metamagic feat)
Archivist 9 (Open, Open, Open)
Contamplative 1 => Gain the Magic domain
Dweomerkeeper 1+ (Open)
Works RAW, loses 1 CL, lvl12 entry.

Option C:
Wizard 1 (Scribe scroll, Any metamagic feat)
Archivist 3 (Open)
Church inquisitor 1
Soveregin speaker 1 (Open) => Gain the Magic domain
Dweomerkeeper 1+
Requires to be LG or LN, loses 2 CLs, lvl7 entry.

Option D:
Wizard 1 (Scribe scroll, Any metamagic feat)
Archivist 4 (Skill focus: K. Religion)
Divine Oracle 1 (Open)
Soveregin speaker 1 => Gain the Magic domain
Dweomerkeeper 1+
Works RAW, loses 2 CLs, lvl8 entry.

Precocious apprentice allows for only 1 wizard level.

And why would you need more?

I don't see how you can cast arcane spells without losing at least one archivist caster level. Certainly, if you are only taking the arcane casting to fulfill the dweomerkeeper entry requirement, then you can just dip an arcane casting class and never mind trying to keep up the arcane side beyond that.

And why would you need more? Thanks, I'll look into these. Especially if I can get the first one past my DM.

Theurgy. It was partially a response to the build posted before mine that used 3 wizard levels, though, I didn't leave anything to help anyone connect the dots.
