View Full Version : birthday shout-outs

I have not seen a "happy birthday" shout-out in a long time. I haven't noticed a change in the rules, or an announcement about this, but then I've been a bit distracted recently. Anyway, even after re-re-reading the rules, I still felt self-conscious about this ... so I figured I'd ask.

So: is it still acceptable to post a thread in FB, wishing a specific Playgrounder a happy birthday?

Thanks.

I know there's this there's this thread:

The front page isn't changed per day since the second of february, but I still wish people a happy birthday on there occasionally...

Not sure on the linking to facebook.

"FB" in this case is Friendly Banter, not Facebook. ;)

:smallredface: I blame social media brainwashing. So I guess the question is are we able to make thread pages or do we keep them on the sticky?

Sheriff: I'd prefer you use the sticky thread, but if one of the FB mods wants to come in and say let them eat cake post separate threads, I'd roll with it. They can post through the lock to say that if they want.
