Since its something we are all thinking about anyways lets talk some politics. But rather then the whole presidential battle lets discuss something more specific and see if we can't brainstorm anything good.

Now most of us do have issues with the public education system. I myself was allowed to float through it without attending half the time. I know that it failed me and well many of us simply by focusing on test scores and not teaching the love of learning. What are some things that could be done to fix this? Would undoing No Child Left Behind help? Throwing money at it? I personally would like them to relax on the education requirement they have for teachers. One does not really need a masters to teach a group of 6 year olds how to write.
What are your thoughts?

read up with these cracked articles, they should explain it to you. Many of them are also really funny:smallbiggrin: (http://www.cracked.com/back-to-school-facts/)

I was kinda hoping for a conversation. That was the "Talking" part of the title.

I'm not sure, but this probably is against the rules.

Sheriff: Real world politics of any kind are an inappropriate topic on this forum.
