Reserve me?

Quick question for clarification from the book: Complete Mage.

if i have a Warmage and i am able to take the Reserve Feat: Fiery Burst.

does the usage of this feat spend one of the spells i have. OR is it that AS long as i have the required spell/level available i am able to use this Feat??

You can use the feat as long as you have the required spell/level available. It doesn't consume the spell. :smallsmile:

As long as you have a matching spell prepared (in case of prepared caster) or have an unused spell slot from which you can cast matching spell which you also have to know (in case of spontaneous caster, including Warmage), you can use reserve feat's ability. You can still cast that spell/use that spellslot, but after you've done it, your reserve feat ability drops in power according to a new highest-level spell slot eligible or, if that one was your last, cannot be used until you replenish it.
