So a friend brought up the idea of making a character with only one level in each class that was a viable and equal contributor to a level 20 party, assuming you weren't counting well-played wizards, druids, or clerics, in Pathfinder.
Now, I recall that with the amount of PrCs and things that scale with character level in 3.5 that you can do some fairly nifty things along these lines in 3.5, but I found it hard to believe of Pathfinder considering the dearth of PrCs for Pathfinder and the active antipathy on the part of the designers of Pathfinder to multiclassing and abilities that scale with character level.
What say you, Playground?
Edit: This (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8lzcOod8dP0em8yMFVqWVdBMUE/edit?pli=1)is what a separate person joining into the conversation whipped up. (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8lzcOod8dP0WDRJWHBHZ2dvYlk/edit?pli=1) I believe it's 3.P due to having both Magus and Vow of Poverty, and Pathfinder's VoP is even more pointless than 3.5's for a character who only has one level of monk.
