For any class, what is your favorite archetype?

Judged by any merit you like, power or flavor or whatever.

So far, I am in love with the Scarred Witch, casting off a physical stat is really neat and the fetish mask simply oozes with ideas for me to make a character around.

If the Ninja can be considered an archetype, I love them a lot. With a wand of fly and the ghost step Advanced Trick, I can go pretty much anywhere, even around Walls of Force. Not through, but around.

Bard - Sandman, Archeologist.
Druid - Blight Druid. What the Blighter prestige class should have been.
Fighter - Rondelereo Duelist. Just awesome.
Monk - Quingong Monk, Zen Archer. Shoot arrows AROUND CORNERS.
Paladin - Holy Gun. Stephen King approved.
Rogue - Knife Master. Only if you talk to your knives and give them names. Name one after one of your party members. Always throw it first.
Wizard - Spellslinger.

Alchemist - Vivisectionist.
Witch - White Haired Witch.

The kensai archetype (Magus) seems like the coolest one to me. That's exactly like I like my characters: Unarmored, using just an unusual weapon, a little bit of magic and your wits

For added 'cool', you can take the Winter Witch prestige class (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/s-z/winter-witch) and be a Winter Witch/Winter Witch.
Which witch is the witchier witch? Only witches know which witch is the witchiest witch.

Kind of a moot point.
In order to be a Winter Witch, you must also be a Winter Witch.

Not quite an archtype, but I'm playing a cleric with the Archon and Heroism subdomains. My presences in battle inspires hope and courage in allies and fear and hopelessness in foes, which is pretty awesome(not to mention that +2 to attacks and save for allies and the -2(no save) to attack, saves, and AC for foes).

Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager)
- DR/- for a PC is amazing especially when it scales pretty well. That little Bit of DR can really help against many swarms of enemies and those multi-attack pounce monstrosities (Darn Tigers!). And the 1/3rd Level in Cold or Fire resistance can be helpful after awhile.

Bard (Undine: Water Singer)
- Abusing a puddle of Water has never felt so awesome. Make Bridges, Ladders, Walls, Ruin LoS, Make Floors, and anything else that your imagination can come up with (Within Reason of Course). Be a legit Water Bender from the Avatar series, even with Blood Bending!

Wizard (Spellslinger)
- A Wizard with a Gun. I always wanted to make a depressed Gunslinger Mage who wanders around shooting people from his past in a western style fashion, using Magic to help the land and vanquish evil creatures along the way. Now I can do it!

Monk (Zen Archer)
- A really, really, good Archer. It was hard to make one in 3.5, and I'm glad they gave a Monk something incredibly awesome to work with from level 1 to... about 9 I guess. And besides the whole messed up stuff with Flurry of Blows not (technically) working, I still think it is a well-made archetype.

Witch (Orc: Scarred Witch Doctor)
- CON to Casting. Best Casting Stat for a Battle Mage Ever! I get to do it at level 1!!! Got to love a Primary Caster with Penalties to CHA, WIS, and INT.

Dawnflower Dervish Bard. Dex to hit and damage on a Scimitar from level 1 seems good.

Sylvan Sorcerer. Can have a better animal companion than a Druid with minimal investment.

Half-Orc Scout Rogue with a Falchion. LEAST SUBTLE ROGUE EVER.

Master Summoner. Just abuse the hell out of summoning, combined with the increased duration of minutes per level instead of rounds. You also probably don't care about your eidolon so using the greater aspect is pretty much free.

Edit:
Also, Monk of the Four Winds, because the elemental fist is cool and the level 17 aspect is full of flavor. Who wouldn't want to glow golden with a long mane of silver hair and be able to fly? That's just fun.

Not exactly an archetype, but listed in the same category....

I LOVE the Wizard Multimorph (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/wizard/archetypes/paizo---wizard-archetypes/arcane-discoveries/multimorph)arcane discovery.

The idea of a permanent Polymorph Any Object on yourself (change yourself into something similar), then you can expend 1 minute of the "Permanent" duration to change to whatever you want arbitrarily.

Since spell duration is set at casting, it should technically stay permanent no matter what shape you turn into. Start as another human, then change into whatevs you want permanently.

It's incredibly versatile and adaptive.

+1, QFT.

Blackblade magus is the best way to really immerse yourself in a character, because you get a familiar that communicates with you telepathically rather than emphatically and also has an alignment and a high Intelligence score.

Yes, wizards get a familiar that can Speak to Master, but only if you stay in the class long enough rather than prestiging (and only if you chose a familiar instead of a bonded item, which I am always very hesitant to do).

Meanwhile, blackblade magus's blade talks to him from the very start, which will encourage the DM to use it more than he would a familiar who suddenly got the ability to talk after seven levels of the DM ignoring his existence.

My favorite archetype has always been the Tetori monk.

Are you a great wyrm? Do you have freedom of movement? Are you about to teleport/shape-change out of my grapple?

TOO BAD, I'm a LUNCHADOR, screw YOU, I have you in a chokehold.

Also, beast-rider cavalier, for all your bear-cavalry needs.

I'm playing one right now. Low levels yet, but awesome so far, and I like how it is developing. My Stunning Fist has come in surprisingly handy so far, especially if I pick the right targets.

Sound Striker bard is hilarious, and you're going to be out-damaging sorcerors from 6-10.
Tetori Monk is pretty much the only Monk that's actually fun to play, with a niche that someone else can't just do better.
No idea why there's so much love for Spellslinger wizards, I've never seen the tradeoff as worth it. Honestly, though, I suppose if you HAVE to pick an archetype, and specialist doesn't count... Frankly, I think the Archetypes don't really add anything to Wizards. Paizo was all "Here, everyone! Have stuff that makes it so you don't need to collect prestige classes in order to be cool!" and Wizards are like "Pff, we were always cool regardless. We don't need your silly archetypes."

Invulnerable rager is awesome and I love it. Be Half-Orc and wear spiked armor, as well, and take Bull Rush/Overrun feats and rage features. By lv 15 you're basically a train that just runs through people, then pounces the guy at the back trying to cast. The number of free attacks you can get is pretty sweet.

Razmiran Priest for Sorcerors made me want to play one. It's pretty fun.

That's about it from my experience, though. Next time I'm going for a cleric, so I'll let you know :p
