Hey All, I am going to be making a Urban druid, and going to be using a animated object as a animal companion, I am wondering if anyone here as any tips on such toys?

The big things involved with a good animated object are the hardness and the shape. I don't know what ACF gives you one as a companion, but try to get at least an adamantium object. The three shapes are rope/chain for constrict and a climbing score, sheet for flying and blinding, and something wheeled for moving quickly.

could a sheet support the weigth of someone sitting on it and still fly?

Probably not. You can only fly if you're carrying a light load or less, and Str 12 (for a Medium animated object) only gives you 43 lbs to work with. A thin halfling, perhaps.

Carpet of Flying: This rug is able to fly through the air as if affected by an overland flight spell of unlimited duration. The size, carrying capacity, and speed of the different carpets of flying are shown on the table below. Beautifully and intricately made, each carpet has its own command word to activate it—if the device is within voice range, the command word activates it, whether the speaker is on the rug or not. The carpet is then controlled by spoken directions.
Size Capacity Speed Weight Market Price
5 ft. by 5 ft. 200 lb. 40 ft. 8 lb. 20,000 gp
5 ft. by 10 ft. 400 lb. 40 ft. 15 lb. 35,000 gp
10 ft. by 10 ft. 800 lb. 40 ft. 10 lb. 60,000 gp
A carpet of flying can carry up to double its capacity, but doing so reduces its speed to 30 feet. It has average maneuverability, but a carpet of flying can still hover.

Is a bad comparison, but gives you thoughts.

Yes. That's the difference between a creature made from an object and a magic item made in a similar shape with a different set of spells.

Hmm... I'd say go for a rug with long tassels. Gets you the sheet-shape benefits and the rope-shaped ones.

Place an automatic-reset spell trap (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/traps.htm#magicDeviceTrapCost) of Repair Light Damage on an object for 1,000 gp (the cost given is the crafting cost, so double the gp portion for the base/sale price). Attach a rope to the object near the trap.

Animate the object, that rope is now one of its appendages. It can use the rope to touch the trap eight times each round in addition to its other actions, per the number of allies you can touch in a given round with a touch spell. That heals it for 8d8+8 hit points per round.

While you're at it, buy a spellbook and place an automatic-reset spell trap of a 1st level spell on each page, per CA p141, each of which costs 1,000 gp. Such spell can include Endure Elements, Mage Armor, Protection from Evil, Cure Light Wounds, Lesser Restoration (Paladin list), Expeditious Retreat, Ebon Eyes, etc. Your party can now activate those traps to gain the benefits of those spells whenever they want.

As a Druid, you can cast Cloud Wings, Bull's Strength, etc. on your flying Animated Object. As a creature it can equip items, such as a Belt of the Wide Earth for a doubled carrying capacity. It's probably not all that useful until you get to a large animated object, and you're probably better off with a Dire Eagle (RoS), but then you won't have an excuse to sing A Whole New World during a game.
