as the title states.

Wingover lets you put in up to a 180 additional to any other turns you are allowed while flying.

Great flyby attack states you have to move in a straight line. If read as you have turns=0 in that attack, wingover will give you plus one, making it turns=1.

Which is pretty damn good. I doubt there are many formations of enemys you cannot hit when doing a sharply turned great flyby attack after you position yourself with a sudden leap.

does it work that way, or is "straight line" absolute?

Wingover specifically states that you are allowed a turn regardless of maneuverability, which indicates that if you are not restricted by maneuverability then it does nothing. With your interpretation, Wingover would also allow you to turn if you were unconscious, which is clearly not how it works.

Well its an interesting exploit, but GFA is a full round action.

When flying, you can move up to your fly speed in a straight line and attack a number of opponents equal to your Dexterity bonus
So executing the Wingover terminates the GFA since you are no longer flying in a straight line. Since GFA is a full round action your turn ends.

Now Wingover (in MM) pre-dates swift actions, but it does say once per round as a free action, so it probably is a swift.
