No im not trying to make undead minions, im trying to make Spawn. As in the comic book character, normally i have at least a vague idea of how to put together one of my character concepts but i have no idea on this one. ill be starting at lvl 2 so i dont have much room for lvl adj, also not trying to min max.

im not very familar with the charecter but the obvious choices would be to give him pycoactive skin item and a spiked chain.

How about something like:

Half-Fiend SP (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20031010a) Hellbred Cleric 4/Crusader 1/Bone Knight 10

Binder seems like an obvious choice, from what I know of them.
I guess the obvious question is, what aspects of Spawn do you want?

The other obvious question, being how open are you to homebrew?

namely i want his powers ie. shooting green balls of hellfire, using chains to entangle and kill, having armor similar to his would be nice, and not sucking in melee so i can still fight with my battle axe

Well, when a Mommy monster and a daddy monster love eachother very much...

Seriously though you're going to need a changeling probably with levels of Chamelion. The rest is magic items.

Hellbred is the race for certain. Unfortunately, everything other than his fighting skills, are from the necrosymbiote he wears as armor. Also the abilities he has can fill an entire page.

The armor allows for manipulation of chains, grows spikes/blades, can camoflage him against any backdrop, turn him invisible, block bullets, absorb the life force of other denizens of hell, heals all wounds incredibly quickly, and much much more.

I am thinking the cleric/bone night build may be best.

Just refluff the armor, and pick spells that grant you awesome abilities.

Scout maybe in to warshapper. Spawn does move a lot. Base class changeling 1 level fighter or barbarian then 4 scout.

The Hellbred (body) with the Half-Fiend Progression would net you bonus physical stats, wings (cloak) so you can fly, two feats to grant darkvision and bonus HP, and DR. If you can talk your DM into letting you take Brand of the Nine Hells (Glasya) for RP/background reasons, you can pick up fast healing/day and the Mark of Malboge feat which lets you take advantage of your minimum 14 Con score to heal 2d8 +1/HD every other round. Warshaper would be nice if you could fit it in for the fast healing and stat boost. Changeling works as an entry but you'd trade Hellbred and the Devil Touched feats and personally I would try to find some other entry. Crusader gives you melee capabilities (and damage soak) though Incanum would let you modulate your abilities easily, possibly totemist as it gives you natural weapons to attack with.
