The Hospital Between Worlds

Slipped sideways, in the gaps between worlds, is a hospital. The hospital, providing care to people from across the multiverse. And they're hiring.

If you ran this hospital, who would you employ and what positions would you give them? Characters with healing powers are ineligible as doctors unless they're also trained in mundane medicine, but there's an apprenticeship programme for nurses (and other positions still need to be filled).

Heaven Canceller (tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/LightNovel/ACertainMagicalIndex) is hired on as a General Practitioner.
Black Jack (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manga/BlackJack) is Head Surgeon, with Fran Madaraki (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manga/FrankenFran) and Faust VIII (tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manga/ShamanKing) as assistants.
The ambulance team is picked from doctors who excel at first aid and/or self defense, consisting of The EMH (http://www.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Series/StarTrekVoyager), The Medic (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/VideoGame/TeamFortress2), Kamen Rider Birth (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/KamenRiderOOO) and Dr. McNinja (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Webcomic/TheAdventuresOfDrMcNinja). Due to a misunderstanding, their ambulance was briefly a TARDIS.

That cute critter is in charge of our philanthropic program: He runs our hospital's equivalent of the Make-A-Wish foundation. Per his request, the minimum age is a bit higher, and he's quite adamant of only granting the wishes of girls, but he's very good at making wishes come true.

Simon Tam (Firefly) for Neurosurgeon. Most of the other applicants for that position would be more mad scientist than healer.

Steven Franklin (Babylon 5) can head up the hospital's ethics committee. Assuming he stays off the stims, he's got a moral compass like a GPS system.

Annie Edison (Community) can intern. She's studying hospital administration, right?

Throw an Igor from Discworld into R&D.

I'd nominate Katara from Avatar for a position of some sort. I'm not quite sure how skilled she is with mundane medicine, but the whole waterbending healing thing is pretty handy.
