I was looking at some pictures on the Psionic Handbook (both 3.0 and 3.5) and I ran into these picuters:

Do someone knows if that sword, shield and armor got specific properties maybe described in the same book? The sword is pretty cool and it would be nice if I could reproduce it in the game.

The Psionics Handbook mentions that psionic swords often possess crystal components and that some are made completely out of crystal. So, I guess it could be any psionic sword.

Indeed. The XPH and SRD mention two special materials (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/items/specialMaterials.htm) - Crystal and Deep Crystal. Crystal weapons are the same as normal steel, but Deep Crystal allows a weapon's wielder to charge it with psychic power (1 PP) and add 2d6 damage to their next attack. It's a decent way for a low-level sword and board Psychic Warrior to augment his damage output, and may be what the illustrated character would be using.

I've missed those materials. Thank you, guys! I love flavourish items and the possibility to reproduce everything I can in the game.

I remember DMing a Psychic Warrior, and he asked me for a crystal sword. I asked him what kind of crystal sword he wanted. I don't care, it just has to be crystal!

I agreed with him. It is one of the things that makes psionics just that cool. :smallcool:

These are good ways to both DMing and playing. I love the large use of the power of the imagination when roleplaying. Too often DMs care more about rules, grids and numbers forgetting that is a RPG.
