An NPC Rogue and I have been trying to pickpocket each other for our shiny magical daggers for some time now, and I got lucky last night. Now I have a dagger which, on a critical hit, grants temporary hp equal to half the damage dealt, that last for one minute. The temporary hp don't stack with any other temp hp, but if they are greater than what I currently have they will replace it.
So now I'm trying to figure out how to optimize for crit-fishing without using any of the really nice weapons, and without moving outside of my current class, the Sublime Assassin homebrew (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=219233) by Zakaroth. Sorry about the restrictions, but that's the way it is. The only thing I can think of is Keen, or grabbing improved critical. What about you playground?
