what are some exceptional items that buff a sorcerer's casting? Namely charisma, I suppose. LVL20 character.

As with every other stat I believe the highest bonus you can get from a magic item is +6, and 5 castings of wish for a +5 inherent bonus. Those are two tactics that I can think of that work for every stat.
