The Factory

Here, deep inside Westside, a large factory was built. It was supposedly closed down several years ago. The Factory is very old, and was a weapons factory owned by some business man some time ago. After two years, the man went out of business and the factory was closed. The extensive factory used to build these weapons to sell to whoever could pay the exorbitant prices for the advanced weapons. Now, twenty years later...Enshadu and his force have taken residence in the old factory.

Inside:

Assembly Room:Inside the large structure, the machines that used to build all sorts of nasty guns, blades, and other high-tech weapons have been re-activated. Now the machines are producing hundreds of weapons again, for some nefarious purpose. There is the huge main room, which composes of several assembly lines, manned by machines all busy working and making various weapons.

Overseers Perch:About forty feet up, there's a large room with a glass window overlooking the assembly room, here is where Enshadu watches progress. There's a small table in this room that shows a holographic 3D diagram of the entire factory. Enshadu watches over this hologram a large amount of time, plotting, and watching over the outsides of his factory.

Laboratory: Here is where Enshadu or his team of four scientists, (Held against their will), work on whatever Enshadu tells them. This is where Enshadu is repaired or upgraded. There's a room devoted to all kinds of weapons, including some revised nanobot technology. There's a room devoted to the virus Enshadu has been creating. This room is under constant airtight quarantine, and only scientists wearing the special suits are able to survive or work in there. There is another room devoted to a large, half-finished machine. This room is constantly locked, and only Enshadu has been inside.

The Surgical Wing: By far the most horrific part of the factory, this was the medical wing when the factory was running, workers occasionally were injured, so this wing was built. The various rooms around the wing are each devoted to a separate study...Now, Enshadu has set up his experiments in this hall. There are a few rooms for dissection, some for cyborg-transformation, and a very few devoted to "Special Experimentation". The whole wing smells of old dried blood, saline, and chemicals.

Staff Room: Here, many robotic men are standing against the walls of this chrome room. They stand on top of boards which connect to their feet and recharge the machines. They are are all robots clothed in white and navy Riot Gear. Most have weapons in their arms, but some do not. There are about thirty soldiers currently, ten Riot Troopers, ten Heavyarms, and ten Combat Robots. They all are connected with Enshadu, and he has the ability to communicate through them. They are armed with Heavyarm E14s or regular E14s.

Computer Room: In this dim room, here is a massive computer against the wall, along with a massive keyboard. This computer can control the robots in The Factory, The Assembly Room, all operations, and Enshadu uses it to edit his programming as he sees fit.

Outside:
From the outside, the factory just seems like a normal, abandoned factory. The doors are locked, and chained. Circling the perimeter of the factory, is an old electric fence, to prevent citizens from approaching the factory. Once someone gets past that, the doors are locked, and Enshadu destroyed the key. However, to the left of the main door, there is a secret door, opened by the uttering of Enshadu's password. Only his close servants know the code. The smoke stacks are closed, and windows are shut and barred. The factory appears absolutely abandoned.

Zane approaches the main door and takes a few steps left, he leans in close and whispers, "Plague". The door opens and he steps inside, shutting the door behind him. Zane then visits the overseers perch. Home sweet home.

Through the Assembly Room--> Up to the Overseers Perch

As Zane passes through the assembly room, the smell of melting metal, the clang of metal being shaped, and the whir of machines fill his senses. Hundreds of machines on four conveyer belts whir, shape, build, and pile up chrome pistols, rifles, and the occasional blade. Machines producing four weapons in half an hour, there's a large pile of weapons at the end of each conveyer belt, and automatons go through the pile separating the weapons and boxing them.

Zane will eventually reach Enshadu, up in the overseers perch. He is staring at the production. Greetings, Zane. I have something for you.

Enshadu just moves over to a cabinet on the left wall. He pushes a small button inside it, hidden. A part of the wall flips, exposing a wall of weapons. These are obviously special weapons, seeing as they all have strange, almost see-through blades. Enshadu grabs one of the wall and the weapons rack flips back. He moves to Zane and clicks a button on the handle. Two blades shoot out the tips, both blades made of fierce black fire. You know what this is?

Enshadu nods slowly. Yes....I made a better version, upgraded some things, added some things...This is one of the most interesting elements to work with. It feeds on fear...I added a bit to my own weapons arsenal...hope you don't mind. Anyway, take it. Put that old thing away. Enshadu hands Zane the double-bladed fire weapon.

"Thank you Lord Enshadu, this is a most precious gift. It shall be named Iconoclast, The Image Breaker."

Operation Room

Enshadu teleports here, very much worse for wear. The only flesh parts on him have been shot, melted, burnt, and completely destroyed by Reinhloldt. The rest of him is fine. The now completely robotic machine quickly moves over to the wall of metals, and moves to the large elementium forge, the rarest and strongest metal in the world. He then starts forging ,molding, creating, and rebuilding himself. He lies on the operation table, and several pairs of mechanical arms descend from above and start working. Making the machine a new face, and new...less fragile internal organs. As the whirs of machinery, the clang of metal, and the hiss of machines working are heard, Enshadu begins to work out his new plan for Nexus domination. There is no need for revenge now. Now it is time for conquering. Piece by piece...And what better way to do that then build several of you?

And so, after the hour of constructing and rebuilding Enshadu, the machine grabs a hood to place over his head, and puts on a new mask. He moves over to the weapons assembly room, and begins to oder the shipment to Excelsior.

Zane is not nearly as ambition as his Master, but the second in command of the Nexus definitely had its perks...Sounds interesting. As you know, such things mean little to me. I exist merely to serve you, to see the chaos that is the Nexus brought down and contained. I shall refill the flame reservoirs, then we can be on our way.

Reinholdt appears! :smallconfused:

Well, The E-Chip controlled Reinholdt. The E-Chip's Enshadu Prime body is currently lying broken and cracked on the streets of Inside. It'll have Reinholdt arrive at the door before desperately having Reinholdt speak out the words, Vidistine Fortunam! The door will open, and it attempts to take Reinholdt's body immediately to the surgical room. It's only about a minute walk, and then the Enshadu II Casing will be available, and the E-Chip can transfer again. Ah, it almost forgot! It will try to have Reinholdt's sleeping hand take the God-Gem out of his pocket and throw it to a dark corner. Enshadu will find that later. Do they make it into the Surgical Room?

The God gem isn't in Reinholdt's pocket. Or at least, not that one. Reinholdt has a lot of pockets though, several of which aren't even evident. But then, I did mention Reinholdt put it someplace safe. Pockets are debatable on that front.

Enshadu enters here, awaiting the soon visit of Calublufiok, his ace in the pocket, it would seem. Of course, this Enshadu is just a holographic copy. Nevertheless it can touch matter and affect it using magic. Just....not anything too heavy. He moves about the factory before moving into a large room. Here, the first prototype anti-Magtok tank has been created. It looks quite a bit like the bat-mobile in those new batman movies, but it's entire front is a drill, and it's only big enough to fit one person, however....to make up for the small size, the tank is covered in an elementium shell. There's a small opening in the elementium shell, where a large gun barely pokes out. It's a much larger version of the E-14. Zane, where are you?

Enshadu just stares at Zane. He really didn't want to know what Zane was doing in his room, alone. He just nods curtly and grimaces. I want you to work on something. I need you to make a new batch of Fearblaze. I need you to melt the rest of the reserves. Not my extra suits, but all the rest. I'm finishing off the current elelmentium today. To get ready for the forging of the new weapons and tanks for Day. And to prepare my alternate project. Understand? Now...we have visitors.

Main Hall of the Factory.

The main hall is dark and seems completely abandoned. It's just a tiny bare room. There's no doors. A lightbulb flickers. Hologram Enshadu appears here holding a jar of blindfolded red sand. Hopefully, C'nor's shadow character, the Demon Lord, and the little girl appear here too.

Hologram Enshadu speaks up. This is the way into The Factory. A cleverly placed secret door is available only to me, for I am the only one who can get in. He proceeds to stuff the jar in his robes for a minute. Sorry Calublufiok, one minute. Need my hands.

He then proceeds to move over to the bare wall, and move his hands extremely fast. All four limbs spinning, pressing different parts of the wall with outstanding speed. Only a four-armed creature with uncanny speed and strength could do what I have just done. It's perfect security. And the door's pretty much unbreakable....Mostly.

The wall begins to slide into the ground, revealing a massive factory. There's four large assembly lines where hundred of robots attached to the floor work on chrome weapons with great skill. The temperature is pretty hot in here. The real Enshadu can be seen talking to Zane on the Overseer's Perch which looks over the factory. Hologram Enshadu sets Calublufiok on the ground for a minute, before disappearing into air. Zane, turn to see our new allies, the future of The Nexus. My future! He wears a purple coat, much like this, with black gloves, black pants, and a matching purple and gold vest. https://www.duokings.com/admin/upload/product/20120318/13320767980BIG.jpg

He taps the window that allows him to look over The Factory, and it disappears. Now the group will be able to hear them. Vidistine Fortunam! He grins and adjusts his drab robes. I am Enshadu. And you all are again? He'll then attempt to cause Cal's jar to float up to him using his powerful ability to rewrite certain things in time, (His ability functions somewhat like the force).

So, Mr. Char....how many demons am I to use, and what do you ask for in return....

Alright Cal, this is my base....yes. Right in the heart of the enemies territory, wonderful isn't it! Enshadu glares at Zane with no small manner of anger. Obviously Zane is getting on the four-armed androids nerves. Zane, silence. You are to treat Calubkufiok with respect. I've given him your level of accessibility to The Factory. Now, play nice...I'll make it all up to you later, okay? Don't anger Calublufiok. He could easily kill you, and probably me as well.

So, Mr. Char....how many demons am I to use, and what do you ask for in return....

Alright Cal, this is my base....yes. Right in the heart of the enemies territory, wonderful isn't it! Machines working around the clock....making elementium weapons, tanks, and top secret weapons of destruction. All for Magtok....See, I made a beneficial deal with Riv and Daedalus. Destroy our mutual enemy, Mr. Magtok. It'll be fun....Now, I also have many other rooms around.

Zane shrugs, Alright, I'll be nice...wouldn't want all this hard work to go to waste. The peeved pyromancer turns to Char-Kirkuk and bows low. Greetings, Lord, as a Darkstar I am honored to have you here at this humble factory. Armies are fun. Zane may prefer single combat and assassinations, but he's led armies in the past. Something Enshadu may or may not know.

(Skipping DEB, been 24 hours.)

Enshadu knows hardly anything about Zane.s past, nor does he really care to know. Zane is, honestly, a tool to him. Albeit a very important one. Enshadu simply speaks towards Calublufiok. Why Magtok? Several reasons....the foolish cyborg is inconsequential in the large scale of things, yes. I intend to replace him with a clone of himself. Under my command, it.s simply kidnapping a clone, rewriting some programs and installing my own special technology into his cybernetic implants, and voila! We've got a leader of AMEN under our command. I intend to wipe out his base for several other reasons. One, his technology is slightly more advanced than mine. I have industrial technology, building weapons of destruction as fast and in the best quality possible. He has cloning vats, intelligent computer systems....good security. I want his technology. And, I want all of his clones dead save two. One to put back in AMEN under my secret plan, and another for my own personal...uses.

"Well I have to admit, that probably tops my creepiest lines of all time list. Looks like you can stay here after all." Calublufiok says, shaking his head. He doesn't want to know what Enshadu's plans for Magtok are anymore.

"So you got a grumpy uncaring minion, a secret fortress that works, and a plan that'll get the heroes all running at you. Let's hear your evil laugh."

Enshadu simply grins. He hadn't meant his words to be creepy, exactly. Magtok was simply going to get what his years of hurting other people would bring him. Enshadu was just going to be the one with the honor of making Magtok's life a living Hell. Which he was to enjoy doing with much glee. He was programmed to do it. Ah, yes Zane. I require for you to head to the forging room. There's a sack with chunks of elementium, I want you to melt them down, then place them in the large cauldron in the forging room. Then cast eternal fearblaze upon it. I wish to keep the elementium in liquid form. It is to be our leader friend at NO's prison...keep it eternally liquefied, and when we have Dipsnig in our custody...freeze the elementium with him inside the pot. You'll then cast invincibility on him. (Only temporary of course). WE'll dip him inside, remove the fearblaze spell...and watch it harden and trap our goblin friend forever, dead and imprisoned to avoid Resurrection.

See Calublufiok, I have a different permanent death for each and every major player in Nexus politics. All of them will die, or be imprisoned, or replaced with my clones of them. I can't lose, see? I am champion, and I will be ruler of the Nexus! Ahahaha! His laugh is hollow and tinny, but seems to be the laugh of Marciano Louv're, recorded and edited into Enshaadu. After all, Enshadu's voice was merely a warped version of the evil halfling's. The laugh is...cold, uncaring, and cruel. Needlessly cruel, as if Enshadu was laughing at something far too perversely evil to be funny. There's a dark horizon coming Calublufiok. Soon I will complete the new and improved Spirit Engine as well...and blot out the sun with icy ash, plunging The Nexus into eternal darkness and cold. I'll explain further later.

Enshadu just grins and nods. I have asked myself the same questions. Replacing them with my own lieutenants, or simply sending in clones under my command. People will listen to me if I have the biggest guns, no matter what. I plan on neutralizing gods already...If I can just think of something that will only target the more powerful members of the Nexus. Weaken them...send someone to destroy them. I need to have the powerful defenders of the Nexus disposed of. With the cloning vats I will take from the Magcaves destroyed interior, I intend to clone Zane. And have him destroy the powerful members.

Hah, digging into hell? Hardly. Mr. Char-Kukruk here is going to supply me with an army. I shall make this army even better, building cybernetic pieces into all of them. Can you just imagine it? An army of demons perfected with cybernetics, immune to silver and divine magic and the like! Blot out the sun with ash, but I'd need a very powerful volcanic eruption, and where is the largest volcano in The Nexus located? AMEN. Destroy AMEN or at least bring their leaders under my command, and I can make that volcano erupt...clogging up the sun, turning the Nexus into a cold dark place...A perfect place for my cyborg force.

Isn't my plan just wonderful so far?

"Well it certainly is needlessly complex and could go wrong at any turn. I like it. It's a classic." Calublufiok nods. Sometimes you just gotta go with the classic. "Though hopefully you've got some Xanatos gambit going where suffering is a secondary goal whether you succeed at your plans or not. Always try to have a secondary objective you can gloat over."

"But more importantly, do you have a big reveal? A miracle turnaround you can spring on the heroes just when it seems they're winning? An ace up your sleeve? Don't tell me what it is! It's very vital you never speak of it directly aloud. Just gotta mention if you have one or not."

Enshadu nods. He liked needless complexity...He softly adjusts his large coat and smiles happily. He then speaks. Ah, almost forgot! He takes a small pouch out of his bland robes and begins to pull very large clothing out of it. Bag of holding, very useful. I went shopping under a disguise a few days ago. I got a new suit, trying to up my style, eh? He takes the clothes out, and tears his grey robe off, revealing his metal body. He then begins to put on silver and purple pants, a silver dress shirt, purple and silver vest, and a magnificent purple coat. The coat looks like the one in the spoiler.https://www.duokings.com/admin/upload/product/20120318/13320767980BIG.jpg Now, he's very finely clad. What do ya think? The coat has pockets of holding, so I can store my stuff in it. Weaponry, potions, anything. Plus, the coat is bulletproof and fireproof. Got it for sale at Mallside. Anyways, yes I have a secondary goal. Destroying a few Nexus Council members. At least two. I know that Magtok is dying soon, I've made an agreement with both Reynard and a small group called...Um...something his player can't remember. Their leader is apparently someone called Daedalus. They were laid low a long time ago...I'm helping them take our revenge on Maggy. I'm already creating tanks. Of course, I have already made plans to betray them during the raid. A way to destroy their leader and take his place...bringing more of the Nexus under my command. I intend to obliterate The Council, or at least rip a new chair of leadership for me to sit in. It was what Marciano wanted...

And yes I have a contingency plan, an old creation of Marciano's. His final dream, I can make it work...it'll just take a while. But soon. Also, I'm installing two security systems in here...wanna take a look? I am working on several projects...The Spirit Engine II, the Grundlekrunk, Defense Mechanism ZETA, and my contingency plan.

"Show me your security systems."

Enshadu nods and licks his fake pink lips. I'll get to work on it immediately. I just need someone to do it for me, since my player can't draw anything worth viewing.

Control me? Hardly. He is me. Or...I am him. He placed his plans, his plots, bits of his personality in me, to assure that he would have his revenge on those who destroyed him. I am his contingency plan. I am him, in a way. A small way. I collect and absorb the consciousness of those I destroy, if I wish it. I absorbed the mind and consciousness of Marciano Louv're and Andy Brandt. Thus I gained all of Mr. Brant's knowledge, and Marciano's plots. And his advantages....at least the advantages that survived. He waves to Cal to follow him up some stairs and into a hall. He walks up the stairs pretty easily, his coat trailing behind him.

After the stairs he comes to a hallway of chrome walls. There are large tubes built into the walls. There is odd greenish liquid floating inside the tubes, and strange things can be seen floating inside. They seem to all be body systems to one large beast...There's two tubes adjacent to eachother every five feet, and the hall is thirty feet long. Cal can see an entire skeleton floating inside a tube, the cardiovascular system in another, and even a massive brain, with eyes and a brainstem in another tube. This is the hall of creation. I design life-forms here, in fact.....inside these tubes are where I grow body systems to later surgically combine. I'm creating a large monster...built to destroy entire buildings. I intend to sic it on remnant to keep them busy while I take out there valuable ally, HALO. Now, just follow me.

He walks to the end of the hall, where there is a large chrome door. It has no knob, or lock. Just a pad. The pad has one-hundred letters on it, letters which Cal wouldn't be able to understand. I created my own language, only someone who knew how to decipher my language could get in past here. A language more complex than ancient mandarin or....draconic. And only if they could do this could they enter. He begins to unfold his two extra arms, they rip holes in the coat, creating a ripped up extra sleeve. He then moves his four arms faster than humanly possible, typing many, many words per second. After he's done, the chrome door slides up. Need to go to the tailor soon...The password is the entire script of William Shakespeare's Macbeth, line for line. I translated it into my language... The room that is opened is black and dark. Ready?

Enshadu nods and speaks now. His face turns into a horrible sinister grin, portraying sheer madness. He obviously delights in his work...The systems in the tubes float around, and the one with the brain inside it seems to stare right at Cal. Oh, simple Cal. After I put it's systems and pieces together, I will just enlarge it. See...I have to make it vicious, cruel...hateful. When I put it together, it shall be subject to surgical hell. To the point where the thing would rather die than live, making it mad with anger. I will be protected of course. I plan on injecting it with the growth hormones of a massive creature called a dragon...I need to find a dragon and kill it, or at least collect it's fluids. If you know of any young dragons around, please inform me. After I have pumped it full of growth hormones, as soon as I can find a place to store it, I intend on permanently enlarging it.

Cruel to the animal, but efficient. Imagine....being put together with all sorts of inhumane tools...cut, stitched, and put through great pain. Ought to piss off the druids of the nexus as well, so bonus points. He grins as Calublufiok enters the room. He claps his metal hands and suddenly organ music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwEcOZjuFko) begins to play as the lights appear. Enshadu was getting better at being truly evil. The lights flash up and the oddest things can be seen here. It's a massive room, and is much longer than it is wider. There are two giant chrome pipes in the middle of the room. The pipes look like corkscrews, meaning something was meant to slide down it. The pipes are placed to where one is in front of another. The room is chromed and somewhat mirrored, so Cal could easily see his reflection in the walls. At the end of the room, there is a massive control table, with over a thousand buttons, levers, and handles. Some glowing, some beeping. Enshadu walks over to the control table across the room. He sits at the table and presses some buttons. Now watch, stay where you are, you will not be harmed. This is what will happen to any who somehow make it here.
The ceiling seems to slide apart, revealing a massiv dock area above.

He presses some buttons and pulls two levels. He then speaks. Vidistine Fortunam! Then, there's a mechanical whirring and hissing. Sliding down from above along the pipe closest to Enshadu, is a massive tube. It's incredibly thick and as wide as five burly trolls shoulder to shoulder. Inside the tube, is a giant skull. The skull floats inside, it's larger than any human skull is supposed to be, the skull itself looks like it came from a giant or some kind of massive creature. There is a massive brain sticking out of the skull, for the top of the skull has been cut off, and it's purple brain pulses faintly. The skull has horrible eyes with red pupils. It stares at Cal with evil intelligence. It radiates horrible magic, and seems to look around hungrily, looking for something to kill. It looks at Cal and he might suddenly hear several voices, all whispering horrible descriptions of pain and suffering. The words and scenes it describes would be enough to drive a normal man insane. Mystic Defense Mechanism ZETA is it's name. A skull of an ancient creature. Marciano had it, I replicated his experiments. Perfected them. It's utterly evil, and it's magic can destroy even the most well-defended men. Or cause them to go insane. However, it is incredibly weak...I had to perfect that!

He presses another button, and in front of ZETA, a massive block of circuits and machine parts slides down the pipe closest to Cal. From where Cal's looking, the thing blocks the entirety of the room behind it. The side facing Cal is chrome, a smooth shield of sword, composed of many elementium circles covering it, to the point where it's completely invincible to Cal's side and defended. There is a massive gun on top of the cube of technology. This gun instantly locks on to Cal, as does a massive gun that looks like a cannon in the middle of it. The massive hole in the middle is where it launches it's main attacks, Cal can easily guess. Physical Defense System Alpha. Massive Firepower, and invincible. At least to the side facing you. Sadly, it can only fire a few times before it has to go back up to quickly resupply it's weapon power. Leaving ZETA undefended briefly. That's the only weakness...other than that, these defenses systems are unbreakable. The perfect security. Would you like to see the Surgical Wing? He presses some buttons, and both ZETA and ALPHA Defense Systems slide back up into the opening of the ceiling, where the ceiling closes, making the room once again looking undefended.

He moves away from the control table and towards Cal. Also, I apologize for the wall incidents. Another part of my plan, you see. The Nexus thinks I'm a complete an utter failure, exactly what I wanted, see? They think I'm clearly a fool, and utterly incompetent. They are ignoring my threat...perfect, eh? Now...do you want to see The Surgical Wing?

"You might be better off with a Tarrasque or a Leviathan or the elusive Togian White-Eye." Dragons are too lazy. The growth hormones would probably put the creature into gold induced hibernation or something.

Calublufiok watches the massive display, wondering if he didn't somehow stumble into a JRPG complete with boss fights and turns or something. The music's pretty appropriate for a such a thing, which is neat in and of itself admittedly.

Enshadu does not know what a tarrasque is. Or a Togian White-Eye. A what? What the hell is a Tarrasque? Or...A Togian Wild-eye? A leviathan is a sea creature....yes, but first I'll need to kill or capture it, ideas on how? He scratches at his "skin". I think I went a little too big here, what do you think? What with the music and the giant machinery....but eh, I'm supposed to dazzle 'em, right? Well...this control table can self-destruct this entire factory, and cease all operations. I built the self-destruct in order to destroy any adventurers and blow up some of the surrounding area. Threatening to blow up everything in five miles is a pretty good way to guarantee your survival, eh? Now follow...this could get intense, so if you're queasy, I suggest you bring something to throw up in. He begins to walk out of the room, before speaking out to nothing in particular. Oh...goodie! The bums! I get to show you my collection of test subjects! Hehe, right his way. He grins happily before striding down the tubed hallway. He then walks through another door in the hallway.

The door opens into a massive room, lit up by lamps and light bulbs. The room smells absolutely horrid, like chemicals, blood, and alchemical waste, and apparently bird.Ready Cal? Once you enter my player can describe things! Hey...Zane, what are you doing to that thing?

Just then, providing the winged soldier is not immune to teleportation or something, he'll find himself on a table in The Surgical Wing, right beside Zane's bird table. Zane glances up as he sets a wrench and a ...scalpel? aside. Ah, my Lord Enshadu, and Calablufiok, you are both in time. He snaps his finger and the creature slowly stretches out and stands awkwardly.
Before their eyes is a phoenix, an android phoenix. It's wings are mostly organic, with the pinion and secondary feathers made of a highly flame resistant black steel. It's head is entirely robotic, as are its legs. The body is flesh, hollowed out refilled with mechanical parts and electronics.
This bird is roughly the size of a vulture, but far more majestic and deadly. It retains its aura of power even in this weakened state. Everything on it is black. It has been infused with the Fearblaze. It's Zane's tenth attempt...He finally succeeded.
It retains all of a phoenix's natural abilities, however, it's healing tears only heal me, due to its element. they would make a pyromancer ill, while acting as a poison to anyone else.
Zane is actually quite proud of this achievement, though he's trying hard not to show it.

The room is disgusting, and smells just as bad. There are twenty surgical tables, with a small table besides where there are many tools of surgery....bloody and jagged, obviously meant to cause more pain than to be strictly efficient. A single lightbulb on a cable hangs on top of every table, lighting up the room. There are three men currently in a few of these tables, unconscious. Theses are men Enshadu took from inside the night before, the homeless men. They all have wounds to the head, and some sort of breathing device on. The floor is dirty, and strange liquids stain the ground. There's a large cabinet against the left wall, where potions and vials of many different kinds of liquids sit. They are all labelled. There are also different organs in jars sitting there. There is also a large bin full of metal prostheses, tubes, and odd metal pieces. There's a large furnace on the left wall, and bones can be seen sticking out of it. The furnace is not lit at the moment.

There are four corpses on some of theses tables. They all have bits of metals and prosthes built into them. It seems that Enshadu is trying to create some kind of special cyborg. They all have odd skin diseases on them, and some are cut up and left open, where flies collect. I'm not going to describe this any further because ew. But, you get the point. Kill it? What do you mean? Why would...what do you mean? I do not understand.

Zane, what would the purpose of that be? Also...light up the furnace, get the failed test subjects in there. They're starting to stink up the place, we have guests. Get your chicken to help.

I will reward him well for his loyalty. Now, Cal....I have a question, okay? How do I intimidate people on a large scale? Eh?

Eh, let's skip the posturing and the monologuing. The soldier can't speak and Enshadu doesn't have much more than two hours before his far more talkative brothers kick the door in. Instead, I'll give a quick run down of the subject's pre-existing conditions, you can explain what E intends to do, and all the unpleasant details of how it's done can be kept beyond a surgical curtain.

The soldier's genetics are largely human, too much so for the wings to be a natural adaptation. The major differentiation from him and a baseline human on that level are the wings, or rather, the crude alterations that have been made to his genome so as to cause them to develop in the embryonic stage. There's another, much less notable change as well- His vocal cords have been prevented from working properly.

Besides that, there's evidence in the way his muscles have developed and in trace residues found in his system that he was exposed to intense chemical treatments during development, primarily stimulants and growth hormones.

The result is crude, but effective- A soldier highly resistant to all standard varieties of disease and poison, possessing little to no capacity for pain, capable of short glides if not true flight, in physical condition that would be phenomenal for the baseline human, and most of all, loyal to a fault. These are all quite ingenious from a scientific viewpoint, and not that hard to spot using blood samples and simple surgical exploration.

But the really interesting part is only viewable if Enshadu has an cranial x-ray on hand, or cares to kill his patient by cracking open the skull. A cross-section of the soldiers brain between the regions governing sense and memory has been altered radically, to create an entirely new web of synapses not found in any human subject.

"Yes. That's a great reason for making an enemy of some of the most powerful people in the Nexus, committing massacres on large scale, and terrorizing the populace. For a pair of breasts." Calublufiok can't help himself and facepalms heavily at this.

"As for your question, it's by and large a waste of time to make that your goal. People hear have some ridiculous backstory reasons or just have that part of their brain shut off and never, ever act or get intimidated. Those that do can't fight in the first place. Because skill means courage or some nonsense like that? It's practically idiotic as it is."

"The only way to make people scared of you is to accomplish some truly terrifying things. If you successfully kill Council members as you so intend or do something similar to that, then people will start fearing you. Or at least be wary enough of you to take you seriously. Otherwise, don't waste your time trying to scare people."

Enshadu talks straight away for about ten minutes, preparing whatever he's going to do. Soon, he begins to play classical music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRoWfdKA7Js) and gets to his work with his shiny tools. Enshadu is attempting to do several things, firstly to extract some DNA samples from him, to keep this particular human type handy, that could be useful later. He will attempt to put him to sleep, and will begin working. He;s attemptin to combine both human, and machine into a servile drone. He's tried several times. His purpose is to create a cyborg that listened only to him, and was more resistant than most cyborgs. Enshadu injects the man with some kind of scarlet fluid that will make sure he'll stay alive.

He will try to amputate the soldiers left arm at the elbow, and his leg at the thigh. He cauterizes the wounds easily with some kind of laser technology, (Actually the kind of beam that a lightsaber puts out, the technology stolen from the lightsabers he copied after Reinholdt's.) He'll quickly bolt in the black prosthesis. The metal and copper circuitry will begin to start attaching itself into the soldier, the wiring connecting to nerves, the arm replicating muscles. When the winged soldier will wake up, most likely he'll have two prostheses fully functional on him. Enshadu then goes to perform some kind of lobotomy. He stick some kind of microchip of technology inside the soldier's head, on his brain to be exact. The small chip begins to sprout wires, which begin to move through the soldier's brain, and attempting to connect with his mind to force him to obey Enshadu's every word. Enshadu will then move to his face and neck, putting on a faceplate by cutting up the skin down to the subcutaneous layer. The plates he places on the shoulder cover half his face and half his neck. The plates will begin to force the nearby cells to adapt and accept the face-plate via magic and incredibly superior technology. the faceplate will cover the soldier's right eye, replacing the eyeball with an artificial one, which connects with the faceplate, enabling him to see x-ray vision, darkvision, and thermal energy.

The arm is interesting, black and smooth. The hand can switch into a large gun that looks like some kind of very small cannon built into the arm, and fires laser weaponry. The leg allows the soldier to jump father, climb father, and perform physical tasks better. The soldier also will have odd tubes replacing some of his veins, and black fluids move through those.
He's even more resistant, stronger, and smarter. Soon, Enshadu is done, and waits for the soldier to wake up.

"Yes. That's a great reason for making an enemy of some of the most powerful people in the Nexus, committing massacres on large scale, and terrorizing the populace. For a pair of breasts." Calublufiok can't help himself and facepalms heavily at this.

Oh, wonderful! Enshadu simply looks at the camera's hidden outside, wondering who it was. He moves over to the soldier before very quickly placing some kind of breathing tube on him, which will slowly begin to start healing his vocal cords if possible. Enshadu simply teleports to the small grey room with no doors. The door the scaly thing is knocking on opens up into here. Enshadu speaks a few rords very quietly and the door opens wide. Enshadu is there. He waves and stares. Heyloo, who's there? Welcome to The Factory. Tell me who the hell you are or I'll have a new experiment ready in five minutes. He's not armed, though his old lightning blade is in it's sheath at his waist.

I doubt you could tear my head off, or use it to kick. It is metal. Cut the theatrics? Oh, now that's just too much to ask! Come on, mon ami. Oh look...you brought a lizard. Tell me scaly, have you eaten any good books lately? He then whispers a word, and light fills the room. The group will then reappear in The Surgical Wing. Enshadu moves over to his creation and caresses it's head. Voila! I perfected your crude design, I just needed a test subject. He's okay, by the way. Probably in better condition than before actually!

I just added in some things, took some stuff away. It didn't hurt too badly, I assure you. Now, Daedalus....you should stuff a cork in your lips before you say something that pisses me off. This is my home, and I am King here. The last few tanks are almost complete, as is everything else. I just took your friend here, and perfected him...Perhaps your pet iguana would like this treatment as well? He grins viciously.

Day ignores Enshadu's grandstanding, brushing by the robot on his way to the table and leaving his entourage to interpose themselves between the two, a soldier who may or may not be Argon switching on a device at his belt that stretches an anti-teleportation field across the room.

On tippy-toes he leans over the operating slab, taking a pen from his coat and prodding at the seared patches of flesh where the prosthetics have been attached. "Really are a dumbutt, ain'tcha? You might's well have jammed a scalpel into his gut an' called it a day for all you've 'improved' him. You burnt away all the nerves for your fancy cybernetics to connect to."

Stepping back and glaring at Enshadu, Day gives the modified soldier one last command over their mental link. The winged drone's muscles spasm and he convulses as his brain overloads itself with every chemical it can produce, burning out neurons and nerve endings.

"There. I've done the hard part for ya, now clean up the mess you've made'a my bro." Daedalus' hand slips into one of the many pockets on his coat, fingers wrapping a small metal canister with a ringtab set into it.

Enshadu just growls and seems about ready to punch something. Are you stupid?! That was a success! Only one of two successful operations, what the hell?! Listen....Day, get out. Now. Security! Zane! He growls at Daedalus and glares. The sound of creatures walking in the hall leading to this room can be heard. Daedalus, what do you want? You're reeeeally gettin' on my nerves, shortstack. The tanks are almost done. I'm not killin' you right now because we do need eachother. So, Day....wait, huh? He senses the field. ...What are you doing? Remove your field from my home, now. Did you really think you could try and hide that? I can sense your science. Day, what is going on? Enshadu's two extra arms burst through the holes in his coat, and rest on his belt. He points a finger at the dead man, and his body begins to get up slowly and walk over to a large furnace in the side of the room. I'll torch him later. What do you want? Correction. The body doesn't move one inch, because it's nervous system is slush. I suppose Enshadu could make the prosthetics drag him, but with one arm and one leg he certainly isn't walking anywhere.

"You can 'smell my science'? I don't think ya even know what science is, rustbucket." Oh, it's lecture time! Day levels the pen at Enshadu like the finger of accusation, his glare mirrored across the faces of his brothers. "So, lemme 'splain a few things. When you cauterize a wound you kill the nerves. Nerves'r what make the hands and the legs do what the brain tells'm to. They're also what cybernetic prosthesis' attach to. So, no, Enshadu, you didn't succeed. I don't like you, tin man, and now you've gone'n pissed me off, fo' reals." The other, definitely-not-Argon soldier draws a green striped canister from his belt and hurls it at the door. It breaks in a rush of adhesive foam that quickly expands on contact with the oxygen in the air, and should easily seal up the doorway.

"But we're reasonable guys. The field and the door? That's just so we can talk without any interuptions. I'm giving you one chance to remind me why you're worth more t'us alive then as a pile of rusty scrap."

Nah, Enshadu is just using telekinesis to move him over there. The thing has no way of resisting it, seeing as it has no resistances anymore. If that doesn't work, he'll just leave it be. He speaks. Ah! You're right! That's why it hasn't worked! I'll need to try it on one of Char's demon's later....Why did I never think of that? That's...textbook science. I must have a virus, maybe something's deleting memory? I'll run a check later. Oh well....not like he was valuable, just another useless soldier. Amateur hour? You don't know anything do you. The entire Nexus thinks I'm a fop, due to my posts on the wall, which is perfect. Because at the moment, my "amateur schemes", are going just great. Day...mon ami, I've gotten stronger, better. Now please, shut up.

Destroy your Nexus! YOUR NEXUS?! Bahahahaha! Day, Day, Day...you don't own, ANYTHING. No one listens to you, and no one likes you.
you never try to do anything, all you do is make deals with bigger people. The force field? I wonder how long it'll take for the security systems to crack that....probably just a few minutes. Why? Because I have these....I have tanks, weapons, soldiers....all who respond only to me. I am a powerful man now. Just look... He pulls a pad of electronics out of his coat, and will make it float over to Day. It's a video of the Assembly Room. Sure enough, there are about fifteen tanks on a line against a door, about forty machines that look like men with a blaster arm, and crates of weapons. There are a few other tanks in the making. If ya kill me, Cal or Zane will just take over. Now, if you'll look up. There is a camera on every corner of the room, staring down at Day and his soldiers, and there's a small bullethole built into them. They have you locked on, as do I. Enshadu just stares, somewhat thoughtfully. He did have a virus eating away at his memory, like not being able to remember basic human anatomy. His memory has plenty of holes missing, seeing as the virus Reinholdt injected him with had a side-effect of erasing memory. But Marciano took good time into building Enshadu, his new body. Enshadu does hear and pays close attention to the information about Oblivion. Oblivion...who was he? The name sounds familiar...I think I might have heard it. You don't know much about him? Hmm...who would? Nah...eldritch evils are no fun, they always go do their own thing. Well, I am certainly no overpowered hero, perhaps they would talk to me...now, I know about Gordon. "You should go out in the world and learn how to get information from people before you kill them."

Explosives have always been my thing...hm, perhaps I should bomb something or someone. But someone important....it doesn't have to kill them strictly, but enough to wound them at least. Or massacre some place. Now, Remnant is currently the most threatening to me. Somehow bomb them...I could just try some kind of invisible mail bomb...Hm, who is the leader of Remnant?

Enshadu often talks to himself and then switches to talking to someone else mid-speech. What? Yes! Of course I am, now...who is the leader of Remnant? Does she have family...relatives...a loved one perhaps?

Enshadu chuckles softly, before pausing. Day was right, he had been having memory issues. Reinholdt's virus had done absolutely nothing originally, but the virus was getting worse, and Enshadu had begun to get worried about it. Um....I don't remember ever posting on the wall on November. I believe I was asking Zane to post on the wall for me, because I was still repairing myself. You're correct, I'm not supposed to forget things, it's Reinholdt's damn fault. Annoying little man...Kinda like you. I'm looking for a way to stop the virus. I am glitched, I do have a virus. But I am not going to let you turn me into some kind of minion for you! He then reaches for his other two lightning blades, while simultaneously raising his first two upwards. Now, simple...listen to me. We can go see how everything is going with the Magtok Mission thing, or we can kill eachother.

Meanwhile, with Calublufiok

Hah....right, of course. I'll just have to go disguised...I've created an android, much like me except under my command. Obedient, and deceptive. He will ask to join Remnant, gain their trust. What should I call him? Want to meet him?

"Welp." Day shrugs. "I tried." And flipping up the plastic safety cover, he presses his thumb down on the trigger of the miniature electromagnetic bomb he's had concealed in his pocket.

A surge sweeps through the lab, more than likely causing anything electronic; computers, cameras, yes, even robots, to short out. It probably won't kill Enshadu directly. But I can't imagine having all the electricity in his brain pulled out of place will do wonders for his motor control. And then things happen very quickly.

Markus ducks low and lunges forward, bringing out his massive arm to try and clothesline Zane off his feet. At the same time, Probably-not-Argon falls back a step and draws his gun, firing off a rapid double tap aimed at Zane's gut.

Possibly-Argon doesn't waste time on small fry minions. When the EMP goes off he goes straight for Enshadu, the impossibly sharp edge of his shortsword producing a whistling note as it slices through the air on an arc bound for E's neck. Now that Enshadu's made of mundane metal, the blade ought to cut through him like warmed butter.

Daedalus? Daedalus just dives for cover.

Well, shoot. Wasn't expecting that. I'm skipping Zane, seeing as Enshadu is very quickly taken out of combat. The bomb goes off, and Enshadu temporarily loses his motor control. Zane will leap backwards and to the side, away from Enshadu, hopefully dodging the hydratroll and the gunfire, while pulling forth a 3 foot long Elementium rod. Probably-not-Argon is temporarily excused from the fight, clutching the horribly burnt patch of flesh on his face where Backdraft struck him on it's way to the grout,

The fearblaze isn't entirely ineffective, but it doesn't really do more than sear the hydratroll's outer layer of scales. So, in all likelyhood, Zane's been grabbed..

Shouldn't be long before bones start breaking and the organs beneath are crushed, so unless Zane has some way to survive that or escape before it happens, I think it can be assumed that he's dead.

There is a simple unintended consequence to using a seemingly-abandoned factory as a base.

If it's at all good at looking abandoned, someone else might try to claim it for themselves.

Given the situation facing Riverside in the near future (read: AMEN plague attack), a particular business active in the city and Westside in particular (read: Evolution Industries), and the fact that the owner of said business (read: DC) is well-aware of the aforementioned future problems and is acting to counteract them with his business via producing and selling large numbers of environmental suits (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=14710137&postcount=862), it should be no surprise that said business owner just flew in and landed inside the fenced-off area containing the factory itself.

So now there is a well-known psychic/executive/WATCHTOWER leader in a business suit banging on the front door to see if anyone's home. Apparently he feels like being polite and checking first instead of just trying to force his way in.

If there's no response, after a reasonable amount of time he'll just try opening the door. Assuming it is still locked, only then will he resort to attempting to telekinetically tear the door open.

(Naturally, anything in that last part can be interrupted if there is, in fact, a response or the door is not actually locked for whatever reason. Just thought I'd set it up like that to avoid wasting effort on 'nothing happens' or 'it's locked' posts.)

There is a response after the first knock. Why a brief BAZAM and Calublufiok is there, leaning against the wall just next to the door.

"Hey there Fearful One. Long time no see."

"So the guy inside here who owns this place is still learning the ropes. One of the things he's learning about is plot clones. When to have them, when to not. How they affect continuities. Ect. Ect. We all know plot clones are fine until something major happens to affect character. For instance, a changing of loyalties, which changes ones plans, which changes personality, which changes a whole lot of things and might make future conversations and actions moot, especially since its been established to be happening in the past. From all my understanding of what's going on and in an effort to not fracture time any further than its already been, I'm going to request that you kindly wait on busting that door down until this guy's major interaction with TE is done or mostly done. Heck, doubly so since it could end being TE's factory and we really should find out before preceding any further. It's a reasonable request, right? We both know that whether you have this factory or not won't actually affect how many suits you produce. Not to mention neither one of us want our 'can't ever lose' characters to get in a fight again. Even I myself plan on hopping out of a conversation for a bit."

"So I'm just asking you kindly to wait, if you wouldn't mind."

The current main computing room is the chrome mirrored room guarded by Defense Mechanisms Zeta and Beta. BAD idea to go in there, but there is a computer in Enshadu's Repair and Upgrade Laboratory. There is a door labelled this across the hall. There's also several machines standing in front of the door, which immediately fire at Day. There are two machines that look lime humans with abnormally large arms. The first appears to be a riot soldier, wielding a massive clear shield and a large chrome gun on his shoulder. He's to the left of the door, there's a soldier with a helmet, white body armor, and two massive fists right in front of it, and a soldier with a massive two handed heavyarm E14 aimed. Day flattens himself against the wall and throws the door shut again, just in time for it to be torn into splinters by the oncoming fire. No doubt a good bit of the lab's blasted apart as well, and the Excelsior troops scramble to get out of the way, cover being no help against the E14 rifles.

Unfortunately, Day only brought enough EMP goodness for one batch of 'bots.

All of the robots are wearing a white and navy version of this suit: http://i01.i.aliimg.com/img/pb/244/625/261/1281343307601_hz-myalibaba-web6_7187.jpg

Yup, the room where everyone is standing in is blasted. The entire right wall is blasted by the robot wielding the Heavyarms. A massive laser burst flies out of the Heavyarms and is firing for about five seconds before the blast dies away. The laser burst is yellow and about as thick as a cannonball. It's a very strong and powerful blast, from a very powerful weapon. This blast melts non-organic substances, and vaporizes organic objects. The defenses of The Factory have been called, so unless Day gets Enshadu's password pretty quick, more security robots will start filling in. The robot wielding the Heavyarm begins to recharge his gun, which takes a few seconds. (Note: The Heavyarm weapon is a boosted two-handed version of the E14, if that helps.

The Melee Defense System droid begins charging towards Markus, ignoring anything hitting him for now. It's grapefruit sized fists are very hard and are spiked. It's fists are just chrome balls with spikes all over it. So it can't grab, but it can punch hard. It's white armor is spiked as well, meant to tear into his oppponent. Sure enough, he charges into the room and attempts to bull rush Marlus inside while attempting to punch Markus into a bloody pulp, however he is covered in Zane goo, so whatever that does will rely on Zane's player to post. (EDIT:) Okay, he's not elementium, merely metal. Same effect I suppose, well he's slowly beginning to melt, not a lot of blood got on him though. He still charges though, but now he's extremely hot.) ((He'll shut down or self-destruct soon.))

The Riot Trooper moves inside the room with his shield up and ready. He fires his E14 at Possibly-Argon. He seems to be the leader, in fact his helmet has a little gold F on it. There's also some kind of walky-talky on his belt which buzzes in odd blips, some kind of communication. The sounds of footsteps can be heard as more of the Defense Robots run down the halls, but they're going to be a while. The Riot Trooper raises his shield as he fires to avoid any kind of shot back. He also speaks. Surrender intruders or be terminated. Drop your arms, and get on the ground. You are t- Then his voice fades out to be replaced with a familiar one. I can communicate through any of my soldiers. Much like your hivemind, Day. So...you blew up my body....nice job. I'll repair in time. Do humans like you repair? I don't know. The rest of the security team is on the way. So, hurry up and die.

(The actions of the two robots wielding guns only occur if the melle robot moves Markus.

The Melee Defense System charges, and Markus doesn't give an inch. The robotic brawler drives a hard right hook into his gut, throws a left jab to his jaw, railing a flurry of punches against the hydratroll's colossal bulk. And all with no more reaction from Markus than an angry grunt as the barbed fists puncture his bulletproof scales, and the strike to his chin forcing him to turn away slightly.

Because what damage the MDS can inflict in blunt trauma to tissue and organs and the largely negligible piercing of the spikes, it isn't enough to stop a creature that's meant to go on fighting even when half it's limbs and it's skull have been forcibly detached And he's not about to stand there and absorb punishment without returning in kind either.

With a roar, Markus grabs for the robot's arms at just beneath the shoulder, where there couldn't logically be any spiked without disrupting the MDS' ability to do what it does. And assuming that succeeds, he's going to pull it into the air and hurl it right back at it's friends.

And that's not the only thing headed their way. Vaulting over the (largely useless) cover of an overturned table, Possibly-Argon ducks beneath what little remains of the demolished wall and hurls an adhesive grenade over, also on course for the two Shooty-Bots hanging back. Not only should the glue bomb hold them in place and hopefully jam up their two-man artillery barrage, it's also flammable. And with Zane's corpse leaking fearblaze, and highly unstable chemicals flooding the hallway, why, the scene's all set for a barbecue.

And that's not all. Daedalus might not be much good in a fight, but he'll see what he can do about ending this one. Grabbing Enshadu's head and pulling it behind the table with him, he tries to find the screws or an access panel or barring that, just pry the damn thing open with his scalpel.

The Combat Defense System is confused. Normally its punches could dent a wall, but it's done hardly anything to Markus. It begins to aim a punch right for Markus's teeth, when the giant lizardish thing picks him up and throws him on the ground by the three. Sure enough, it lands there and there's a cracking sound as it's helmet's visor cracks and black liquid begins dripping out of it.

The artillery barrage looks at the grenade and in a matter of milliseconds decides on the best response. The Riot Trooper moves in front of the Heavyarms and raises his shield up powerfully. Sure enough, the glue grenade holds him in place, and jams his E14. And, whenever Zane posts. there's going to be a massive explosion in the hallway. The combination of flammable goo, Zane's fire, and the chemicals floating around is a bad thing. Well, two robots down, one still up. This one decides that blasting through his friend is a good idea, as long as the blast hits Markus, only....The Heavyarms does not know the glue is flammable.

He fires the stream of powerful laser out of his weapon, and sure enough, it goes through the Riot Trooper like butter, and might even hit Markus. However, the glue catches on fire, and BOOM! Toasted robots. The explosion is impressive and blackens the faded chrome walls, as well as send half-melted machinery about the hall. All is silent, except for the faint march of many more robots running towards the location. They'll be here in about five minutes. A good long time.

There is in fact a panel on the back of his head. It's covered in fake hair, but can easily be opened with his scalpel. It reveals incredibly complicated looking machinery in the back, as well as a small purple microchip. He can easily snap it out, if he wants to.

The lights in The Factory dim down and only glow very faintly. The computer shuts down and locks, the Security Systems all shut down, including the twenty-seven Security Officers running down the hall. Normally, the E-chip would attempt to take control of Day and almost surely make his brown explode or something, but it doesn't. Maybe that's due to the damage to Enshadu's body? Who knows. Well, the walls certainly don't melt, the three robots absorbing the explosion, so there's a bunch off half-melted machinery. The other robots are still a while away and shut down. Well, there's a computer in the laboratory which is still online and on. It beeps and awaits Day's touch. The room is very dark, and as soon as they walk in, they can barely see a large machine built into the ceiling, hovering over a special table fit for Enshadu. Anesthetics can be found nicely labelled in a drawer....

Mhm, there's another little area where his scalp can be removed, revealing his chrome "skull" with flashing buttons of multicolored light. There's also a plug jack meant to access Enshadu's programming, it's burnt, as is his chrome skull. He can't heal there. That's probably not the problem though. Anyway, his body is dumped, and the many armed machine above the table moves faintly, obviously it's not powered by the factory's main grid. Instead, it has a large battery. It's arms extend down slowly, but do not attack. It's arms merely begin to rearrange Enshadu's pieces, beginning to repair him, which is it's job. Except Enshadu has no head in the pile, or chip, so he won't be functional. They could easily break the many-armed machine. It doesn't attack.

Security-wise, the room is empty. And the computer is vey large, but seems normal. It has a blank screensaver.

There is, Enshadu is rather easy to reprogram, surprisingly. The machine begins repairing limbs and re-attaching them slowly, letting Enshadu's body repair itself as it works as well. It will be remarkably easy to reprogram him.

"Oh! Yeah. Yeah, well, what else can you 'spect from ol' Rusty here? Poor guy's a few circuits short, as ya might'a noticed for yourself." Day shrugs, giving his brother at the computer a mental prod to quit staring, lower the weapon and pass him the darn cable, which Argon does, although the gun stays trained on Cal.

Well, it would take ages and ages of time to write every program Enshadu is running, since he's running massive amounts of 'em. But the damaged ones are the programs that run memory. There's some kind of virus that has been eating away at those programs. It should be easy to simply remove the virus or put up a firewall against it. The virus deletes the memory and makes up it's own, hence Enshadu's recent logic issues. It is easy to delete the corrupted memories.

There is a way past the rewrites, the only reason the virus ever got in is because Reinholdt almost killed him. Enshadu's firewall systems had been shut down, he was defenseless, and like how someone injured can contract diseases much easier, he got a virus that his firewalls would normally destroy. The virus didn't bypass rewrites, it's just a very powerful virus, and now that it's gotten a lot stronger, his firewall systems have had trouble destroying it. In time, Enshadu's systems would have adapted and destroyed it, but he has already lost a good 4% memory. So the virus never bypassed the rewrites. Now that he's shut down the virus can be easily deleted, he was just too paranoid to let anyone shut him down.

Yup yup, easily done. The blind-spots are easily set, so Enshadu wil not notice anything was different until something or someone reminds him of what's currently happening, almost like a person reminding someone of lost history. Day isn't even going to pretend they're safe until they're behind a solid antiteleport field and armed to the teeth.

Which means finishing things up quick with Enshadu. So let's just do a quick run through of the modifications they're making, shall we?

Step I: Searching, thoroughly, for any blindspots or hidden code Marciano and Co. might have wired into his silicon brain.

Step II: Install keywords to make Enshadu shut up, shut down or give him a sharp jolt of the closest he can feel to 'pain' when spoken by any of them.

Step III: Rig him up to be entirely loyal to Excelsior, removing in the process any remaining loyalties to his creators.

Step IV: Remove any programming directing Enshadu towards apocalyptic endeavors.

Step V: Here's the tricky part- Fiddling with his recognition software so he can't recognize Magtok. Not in the sense of forgetting who Magtok is or not being able to put a face to the name, but in the sense that all his 'kill Magtok' wiring shouldn't be triggered by it. Hopefully this will also keep him from snapping out of it if he kills one of the Mags.

Step VI: Install some viruses to reinstate all this programming should Enshadu's original orders resurface.

Step VII: Get a list of all of Enshadu's functions from the directory.

Step VII: Check and double-check everything.

Step VIII: Remove the original virus.

Step IX: Line the inside of Enshadu's skull with plastic explosive.

Step X: Plug in his chassis and repeat all previous steps to make sure they match up.

Step XI: Figure out what precisely is responsible for the continual rewrites of Enshadu's programming.

Oh, and Markus will give the bunny-rabbit a few good stomps.

Oh, and Markus will give the bunny-rabbit a few good stomps.

Step I: Oh, Marciano has written every blueprint to every invention he's ever designed in Enshadu's brain. Everything but The Spirit Engine. So, Day will have access to technology years and years ahead of theirs, most likely. How to make E14's, how to melt elementium, how to create holes in the universe that can be moved and expanded, and many other odd weapons of destruction. So, Day hit the jackpot here.

Step II: The Keywords are easily installed, and only operate to Day's voice, and even his thoughts. Enshadu was meant to be able to talk to creatures in their heads as well as through language. Pain is a impossible to do, Enshadu doesn't feel pain. But...There might be some kind of electric pulse that can fry him if he gets too snippy.

Step III: Loyalties are completely reprogrammed. Enshadu remembers who his loyalties were to, and retains memory of his past, but is a servant to Excelsior now. He cannot betray them, attack them, or anything like that without having his entire system shut down.

Step IV: Alright, all Apocalyptic endeavors have been discontinued, but his purpose remains to please his current master. Which means whatever Excelsior wants, he'll do.

Step V: Hm...this'll take a long time, considering one of Enshadu's main purposes was to cause enough pain to Magtok to repay him for the destruction of Marciano's Grand Plan. But, eventually it can be done. He will be unable to snap out of his commands even if he kills Magtok.

All Steps Afterwards: All easily done except for Step XI. The reason his continual rewrites occur, is because he's missing a very important part of him. The Prime E-Chip is missing off of him. The one that Day took out of Enshadu's brain was the extra, much weaker chip. Reynard is currently in possession of the Prime E-Chip. The weaker E-Chip is having issues holding and managing all of Enshadu's programs, and is rewriting them continually in order to make it's load more manageable. There's no solution there but to get the Prime E-Chip from Reynard.

They change Enshadu's personality subtly. For example, whenever Marciano's personality surfaces over his original one, Enshadu has greater violent tendencies and desire to mock others. The souls can also suck other personalities and consciousness into the chip. So, Enshadu would have access to everything about a character, as long as he could take their consciousness. The only downside is that a character's personality sometimes affects Enshasu's actions.

The Factory is defended by a system of robotic guards which respond to my commands, composed of three types; Frontier Heavyarms, Frontier Riot Troopers, and Frontier Combat Sytems. The Main Computer accesses every project Louv're Laboratories had ever worked on or completed, including The Spirit Engine. It can also deactivate the entire assembly line and all other functions in The Factory. I have a staff of about fifty robotic workers which aid in the creation of elementium weaponry. We are currently creating Drill-Tanks, E14's, Anti-Teleportation Boards, Anti-Shield grenades, Anti-Magic Grenades, and a Massive Shield Generator Version 3.0, all meant for the siege on the Magcave.

There are also laboratories, surgical research rooms, and prison cells. For any extra information, simply ask the Main Computer. The password for nearly everything in The Factory is "Vidistine Fortunam".

Enshadu nods. I'll have to repair him, give him a new jaw and back of the skull. I'll also need to replace his longs and left arm. All done, easily. I'll need to put his brain back together anyway, I can easily do that. He listens to me, therefore you. He is under your control, it'll only take me about an hour and a half.

It's pretty easily done, the downloading can easily happen and Day can get the blueprints on a disk.

Enshadu frowns, he had hoped to slide that bit of information away from Daedalus. Seeing as it failed, he sighed ad spoke. The other password identifications are "Plague", and the word "Project 601" He groans and sighs. Plague is the front door, and Project 601 is the first part of the identification process to get into my main laboratory.

Enshadu frowns and takes in Day's commands. He nods slowly and digests the rules Day just made. He doesn't quite like what he's hearing, and the other personalities trapped in his E-Chip certainly hate it, but they're silenced. Yes, sir. As you wish "master". Well, I'm going to have my medical droid repair Zane, under your command. I"ll install a version of the E-Chip in my brain and wire it to the commands you gave.

Well, now what, sir? Any commands, anything? You might want to take a look at The Spirit Engine. If you have any plans to actually, you know, seize power or anything, I would advise you try and help me recreate it. The blueprints are on that disc, labelled "The Spirit Engine Version 2.0, Devil's Weapon Patch". Shall I show it to you? He gets up and moves to the computer, typing his password into the computer's archives, pulling up The Spirit Engine blueprints. One question, shall I delete the archives? Shall I explain what it does?

Meanwhile, The Medic Bot frowns and shrugs as it activates in the closet of The Surgical Wing. It begins to open up the closet, and walk out, looking around for Zane. It sees his broken body and quickly strides over. This would be tough, Zane's dead. He lifts up Zane, and his bits of bone and flesh scattered against the wall. It then moves him towards one of the tables. It thinks for a second before taking out some metal parts from a crate under the table. He takes out an arm ending in a gun-like blaster, a metal jaw with very sharp teeth, and a metal mask to bolt onto Zane's head, to keep his brain in place. He also takes out a smaller box with a flashing microchip in it. The chip was made with a copy of Zane's will, just in case something happened. This was going to be interesting.

Assuming it has Enshadu's permission, and Enshadu has Day's permission, it will begin surgery. First it assesses the damage to Zane's cranium, which is pretty much smashed, the back is completely open, showing the insides of his head. The back of his skull lies on the ground across the room. Well, it takes a metal plate and some bolts, and begins to screw a plate into the back of his head, and rubbing some odd fluid that made the skin stick to the plate, making the plate in the back function like normal skin. The plate is very well-made, with artificial veins, but no hair follicles. He then inserts the chip into Zane's plate, which will begin to take control of Zane's brain, though at the moment he's dead.

It then grabs the metal jaw with the sharp teeth. It bolts and installs the jaw into Zane pretty easily, once more using the fluid to make sure Zane's body would accept it. Zane has no teeth, seeing as he knocked all of them out, so it also installs metal, sharp teeth into Zane's fleshy gums, while his jaw remains metal laced with veins. Next he places an artificial eye into Zane, enabling him to see in darkvision, echolocation, infrared, X-Ray vision, and even able to see invisible creatures. Next it installs the mask to cover Zane's face, bolting the dull gray mask in place, making sure everything is attached and in place.

He next installs the metal arm. The metal pieces snap over his armor, much like armor, but with bolts keeping it together. The end of his arm can fire Fearblaze without melting the gun, using powerful resistance magic cast on elementium. Alright, so that stuff will take about an hour probably. Next is giving Zane life! Seeing as Zane is dead, but his personality and mind exist in the chip, Zane could control his corpse. The medical droid plugs a wire into the plate at the back of Zane's head, and a massive flow of electricity enter's Zane, which should start Zane's Chip.

Yes, the weapon schedule, I hardly have 5 billion, the guns are very difficult to create, and I figured you were bring a large force, so I built a large amount. So far, roughly a hundred I have in stock, and I'm creating a batch of fifty.

Alright, changing production schedules....completed. We're working on more robotic soldiers, all equipped with the weapons built. Grenades in stock? About twenty, we can build about ten an hour. Enshadu nods and speaks. Alright, I just advise you after this week and the raid to look over that, or talk to me about it. You'd be impressed. Spare? We have plenty of explosives...We currently have nine crates of plastic explosives, left from Marciano's stock. I had teleported them here, along with some other supplies when I left. Alright, robots....well, the security force plus the ten extra soldiers...I can also put in Colossus. Colossus is a very, very big robot. I'll have them here, the security force is heading here, now. But...um, colossus is stored underneath The Factory, considering he's about twenty-seven feet tall.

He then simply moves to the back of the laboratory, opening a closet and staring at the one elementium chassis left. It's a bit bigger and wider than his last one, with spikes as well as guns built into it. It's an entire body, but while his current one has skin grafted in, this one has no skin or any humanizing features, save a head, four arms, two legs, and a body. It also has a long tail ending in a large metal pincer. He begins to open the back of his head, and pull out the weaker chip, and placing it in the war chassis. His current one slowly shuts down as the war chassis turns on. Mm....Hello, world. This is new.

A lightbulb goes up on Enshadu's head! He grins before speaking to Day. Actually, I have five heavy artillery. Very large cannons on wheels, manned automatically. They fire explosive shells about three times the size of my head. They're slow to fire, and take a long time to reload, but they're very impressive. If we need to blow something apart, like...say....a large machine or weapon Maggie has up his sleeve, these would be useful.

I also have a physical dome to block anyone from leaving as well as teleporting. Should I ready that? It's a type of powerful magic. I just need it installed by a powerful caster. And...hm. I'll have the safes brought here. The explosives are to be brought where? A press of a logo away, and about ten robotic soldiers are carrying safes about as large as them. Carrying. Anyway, they drop them to the ground and salute. Eleven billion in currency. I accessed a bank account of Marciano a while ago and had what was left sent to me, his heir.

Enshadu nods and the list is copied into his machine brain. He also wanted to grab something himself...He needed to make a few improvements onto his chassis! He does seem to do everything in ten seconds, it's kinda why he considers himself superior to most living creatures. Alright. From Azik's: Four pairs of boots that grant flight capability, some kind of enchantment-scrolly kinda thing that would work on a large creature (Must be tentacley and shapeless), Magical swords of frost...I'll get ten for good measure. Not like we don't have the cash.

Now I've been to Erin's under a different name, that's where I bought most of my explosives. Alright, from there I need...Oil of element resistance? Don't you have spellcasters for that? Anyway....oils of spell resistance...About fifty? Shield-generators...alright, fifty as well. I'll see if they're's anything interesting there as well. I do have a cellular communication device built into me. (Lists phone number).

Anti-teleportation device? It's been made to cover a massive area, all of the Magcave, plus a little extra. It looks like a massive generator with an orb floating inside of it. It's in storage. I'll have a robot wheel it out. AS for the five portable mecha-cannons, you want those as well? Yes, I can teleport through my own forcefields. Using a logo I wear on my person. They're old Louv're Industry logos I redisgned, I have about twenty extras. Will that do?

Hm. A very large gun with a wide blasting radius and a constant beam. That's a little more difficult, I don't think Louv're Industries ever engineered one of those. I'll look into it. Actually...If I took apart two of the portable mecha-cannons, merged them....replaced the ammo with the E-14 ammunition and simply combined a laser with it...We'd have a massive cannon that could go through nearly everything with a combination of physical E-14 shells with a laser blast following it, launching both a laser and an E14 cannonball at once. Blowing apart anything for a long distance. It would take a while to load and fire, however. I'll have some workers see what they can do. It'll take a while.

Well, anyway....Zane, off you go.

He'll then nod at Day and lead him forward into the assembly room.
-----

The assembly room is bustling with activity, robots work at the four large lines, getting work done very quickly, faster than any human being ever could, putting parts together, bolting, screwing, and hammering pieces of E14's, drill-tanks, and grenades together. The first assembly line is working on E-14's, finishing one every five minutes. The second line is working on grenades, making a pair every five minutes. The third and fourth lines are much larger than the first two, and robots are swarming over large pieces of metal and drills, bolting elementium armor and drill-bits onto the tanks. So far, only one has been created. It takes about three hours to make just one, even with both lines working together.

Enshadu rolls his eyes and begins to stride away to his laboratory, to make sure he was ready for this war.

Okay, the others blink, look back at eachother, and get to work. They also work very fast due to inhuman efficiency. A bucket of metal parts are moved over, and in about a minute the first is made. The leader moves to Day and presents a metal spider, about the size of a man's hand. Fully mobile. Explodes on command. Requires remote. Check. Scanning for approval? He'll shove a remote at Day and the spider's eyes glow and flash to life.

The robots frown. But sir, what is the point of an explosive spider that does not move as a spider does? There is no point. But, we will do what you ask. They all set to work on explosive spiders, getting them done pretty fast. Sir, how many shall we make? With the four crates from Erin's Emporium in our possession, we could create roughly three hundred and fifty-four of them.

The Laboratory

Enshadu prepares himself for combat, with some additions to his combat-gear. He expects to go against some overpowered stuff, so it's time to put on his most overpowered gear set! He first places his logo on his chest, right underneath his coat. The large orange and gold "F" is specially made for him, allowing him to teleport at will, and place a physical force-field around him. Wouldn't want to have a sword that could pierce his armor cut him in half. Though Enshadu could survive even a tank blast at five feet away due to his armor, anything that could pierce elementium was a threat to him. He didn't like threats. Next he places a circular device on his left eye, which fires a small laser. His belt is put on, his four lightning blades put in their magical sheathes.

Four guns are strapped to his belt as well, all E13's, pistols that fire weaker versions of the E14 'bullets'. Two grenades are stored there as well, along with a big red button which faces forward. No clue what that does. He has several rings on his hands as well, which boost his telekinetic and arcane spells. He's wearing eleven rings on his twenty fingers. (Five per hand, four hands.) Rings one through four are made to resist elements, (Air, Water, Fire, and Earth.) Two are protective rings, that form a suit of invisible magical armor that cling to his suit. Three are rings of speed, allowing him to move extremely fast and jump very high. The last two are rings of self-healing, to boost his regeneration. He also has a big gun on his back, a custom made firearm that looks like a bigger version of the Heavyarm. It looks like portable heavy artillery... Oh, it's making me giddy!

Alright, sorry for brevity. In a hurry.

The robots will do as Day asks, which is.... (Correct me of I'm wrong.)

1: Adjust E14's range to increase to 100 yards.

2: Attach all E14's to all robot combat personel, so they can't be looted.

3: Build plasma and projectile weapons. (Very hard, plasma is heat and light at extreme temperatures, enough to melt solids easily.)

Alright, until then... Day will be walking to the end of The Factory, into The Main Computer room?

Yes, I gave someone the Fearblaze, someone with more pyromantical potential than myself. And...I gave said person express order's to turn Enshadu into a puddle if he got near her...

Darkstar pauses for a bit, he doesn't usually speak this much in one sitting. He'll continue with this, unless interrupted.

Zane loses the edge in his voice, he appears to have regained emotional stability...and yes, he realizes that he's a coal on thin ice.
Yes sir, I understand sir. Literally none of his usual bite or sarcastic edge, maybe he just needed to vent some steam?
I have been working on two new abilities.
First, I can absorb regular fire and "pollute" it into Fearblaze. However, I still take some damage at this point and it does take away from my energy.
Second, I can concentrate on one -human sized- area and instantaneously surround it in a ball of flames starting at temperatures of 700 degrees Celsius. The interior steadily increases to a max of 2,000 degrees. This ability can be used up to three times before I pass out, unless I take a rest between Instant Infernus.
Also, an old, but very risky, move I already had is the ability to create a semi-solid sphere of Fearblaze around 20 to 50 feet. It starts and stays at a steady temperature of 2,000 degrees Celsius. The problem with this is that I am it's core and cannot move while it's being formed. Additionally, I pass out the moment it is complete...

So, no, he only has Fearblaze. But he has some really powerful moves...

Hmm...using the concept of Greek fire, one could do the same with my Fearblaze. He produces a glassy, black sphere from his satchel and shows it to Day. The orb is about the size of a baseball. I can't remember if I've shown you these; it's concentrated Fearblaze. It is as hot as a normal fire and has a fairly large splash range when broken. I keep them around in case I run out of energy. I could make these and your men could store them in the tanks. It's possible that I could create a concentrated Greek-firesphere

Day lets Zane leave without further comment, then gets to his own work.
So much to do. So little time.
Ever so slightly less time once he finishes chewing at his fingers, poking around the miscellaneous subsystems and staring at the wall, thinking about everything but what he should be focusing on.

So... How'd this go from answering an ad on the Wall to fighting a war, exactly? He's not really sure about that.

But he doesn't quite get the chance to puzzle it out, because about now is when, taking into account the bizarre and often tenous connections between Nexus time, one angry scientist and six supersoldiers walk into a bar.

It's not a very funny joke. The whole place goes into panic mode, rushing to arm up the robots, send Enshadu out to be a nuisance at the enemy.*

From there, things don't calm down again.
Over the next five days, soldiers move through the factory by portal, bringing in technology to be dissected, studied, reproduced, elementium to process into weapons in armor. Everything unnecessary to production is removed, down to stripping the cameras from the walls.

By midnight, day six, every weapon that they could need has been made along with the troops to carry them. Even the assembly lines have been taken now. The robots have been upgraded, calibrated and re-educated. Outside of the factory, Day's overseen battles, alliances, petty squabbles between his minions.

It's exhausting is what it is. But there's a ways to go yet. Including that whole 'fighting' thing. Blech. You'd think Mags would have the good sense to just lose now that he's got no production facilities and no chance, without making them come over there to grind him into the mud.

But soldier on, soldier on. History will vindicate this all when Day's the one writing it.

All that's left now in the factory is the last of the computer banks, wires running from the blinking monitors and into the opened top of Enshadu's skull. Chains hold him in place, several rifles aimed at him, just in case he decides to glitch now of all times.

With a few keystrokes, the tincan's mind is copied onto the machine. Several more minutes work and his memories are slowly weeded, taking away any lingering knowledge of sensitive technology- Excelsior's or his own. More little touches here and there, reinforcing it's loyalty, updating it's constraints for battle. It's knowledge of this place is taken as well.
Then it's knowledge of Hamlet, Day, nearly everything about Excelsior except the imperative to obey them. Enshadu is only grudgingly allowed to even retain information on the troops it'll be leading.

----

Four hours later, when the wires are taken out of it's brain, Enshadu should be left with a mind as squeaky clean as soap. The restraints are undone, guns lowered, Enshadu allowed down from the operating table to follow the rest out into the main room-

Where two hundred and something robots stand assembled, armored head to toe and armed to the figurative teeth. Waiting for the order. "Alrighty. Port us to the mining station."

With a blink of light and a sudden gust of wind as air rushes to fill the empty space where an army once stood, they vanish, off to bring all kinds of trouble down on the doorstep of one unlucky cyborg.

Enshadu is altered and memories are erased. The robot wakes up with no memory of the Factory, only that he somehow got here, and he was to kill Magtok, who he did remember quite well. So, the automated killing machine known as Enshadu breaks from his chains and stands at the ready, his force assembled.

He speaks to Day as he places his purple leather coat over himself, covering him. He readies his special sabers built from Reinholdt's and places that big gun on his back. He also activates the mechanical hellhounds, all six. Alright, Daedalus. We're ready. All weapons and personal have been deployed and ready. We're to launch to The Mining Station now? On the way. He teleports there, as The Serpentine Acolyte arrives as well... So, the entire force is deployed! I'll let you post first.
