Cleric with the craft domain wants to start crafting stuff. It looks like most items require arcane spell. what can a cleric do to get the spell needed to craft more effectivly? Don't need to be able to use them for combat or anything ells just for crafting.

Try getting Anyspell & Greater Anyspell through a Domain.

Missing a prerequisite spell doesn't prevent you from creating the item. You can ask a friendly wizard to stand by with the spell, or (in PF at least) just increase the DC for creation.

3.5: Creating Magic Items (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/creatingMagicItems.htm)

Most of the time, they take the form of spells that must be known by the item’s creator (although access through another magic item or spellcaster is allowed).

Pathfinder: Magic Items (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items#TOC-Magic-Item-Creation)

Most of the time, they take the form of spells that must be known by the item's creator (although access through another magic item or spellcaster is allowed). The DC to create a magic item increases by 5 for each prerequisite the caster does not meet.

Renting a schema (Magic of Eberron) to provide the spell during crafting is also an option, if you can work out a rental rate or fee with the current owner.

Just flat buying a schema and selling it when you're done is also valid, but means you're automatically paying a net cost of at least half the price of the schema.
