This is intended to be a more topical version of Random Banter, focusing solely around short requests for information on no particular subject.

Here's mine for today: I'm looking for a comics character, female, with a face that is divided straight down the middle between two different styles. similar to Lucifer's "Mazikeen (http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m61czsBgeC1rpgwnso1_500.jpg)", but more colorful, reminiscent of Ragged Robin (http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m40rwoQuB01r1k874o1_500.jpg) from "The Invisibles" on one side, but different (either "normal" or "weird in some other way", from a different color scheme to completely distinct) on the other side. There is probably more than one such character, so please list any that you can think of, and I'll try to figure out which one is best for my project.

Here's another one. Is it accurate to say that "de facto, though not de jure" means the same basic thing as "functionally, though not formally"?

Yep. It means that something is like this in the real world (de facto) but it's not official/legal. Although it can be used in a nonpolitical, nonlegal case, too, of course,

Sheriff: If someone has a question they'd like answered, they should start a new thread for it or raise it in Random Banter. We don't really need another thread of random discussion. For one thing, the title fails to inform anyone of what the thread is about at any given moment, so how will they know whether to come in answer the question. Which also makes it more work to moderate.
