View Full Version : DMG NPC Trait #26
An Enemy Spy
2012-11-30, 09:43 PM
In the DMG, there is a list of one hundred NPC traits for you to flesh out your characters with. Under #100, it says "No sense of humor(see #26)". Of course, there is no #26. It just goes from #25 to #27.
Why is is there no #26? Is it some kind of joke to say that you have no sense of humor?
If you have to ask, surely that is answer enough?

It's a joke for the most perceptive of readers. I'm assuming that if you roll for that trait and you don't get it you automatically gain the 26th trait

You have explained the joke quite well. Thank you. :smallwink:
I'm also a fan of the powers in Expanded Psionics Handbook on pages 91 and 92.

This had me in stitches for a few minutes, particularily after this line:
On and on, the scourge known as "Dawizard" destroyed magic items across the land.

Heh. Dawizard... Although, if you read it literally as 'da wizard' then you can get 1d4+1 wizards from a magic missile.:smalltongue:

I think it would be funnier if there were not a couple hand fulls of books that have missing information on text vs table. :smalltongue:

And it's only one d/ away from being a differential equation......someone integrate da/dwizard now.

The derivative of wizard = we have too much time on our hands.
