Reposting this question from a locked thread. I'm looking for a female comics character with a face that is divided straight down the middle between two different styles. similar to Lucifer's "Mazikeen", but more colorful, reminiscent of Ragged Robin from "The Invisibles" on one side, but different (either "normal" or "weird in some other way", from a different color scheme to completely distinct) on the other side. There is probably more than one such character, so please list any that you can think of, and I'll try to figure out which one is best for my project.

Help Me Find A Face

They are generally located on the front portion of a persons head. Try looking there first. If that doesnt work, check to make sure you are looking at the FRONT of the head, not the back. Without using the face as a reference point its easy to make that mistake. /nod Sorry I cant help with the actual topic, but I just couldnt resist.

Not as extreme as Mazikeen, but the first that popped into my head was http://marvel.wikia.com/Typhoid_Mary

I remember Element Girl had a split *body*--one wooden leg, one made of something else, for example--but her face was normal. Don't know of any others remotely like that, sorry.

Hm, never heard of her, but you're right that she's got the same half-masked look as Mazikeen (on the other half, interestingly). Not quite what I was hoping for, though. Am I completely imagining that there's a "playing card" themed character with a half-and-half face with a suit symbol on one side? I thought it was Domino, but she just has a black circle around her eye.

It's not 100% what you're looking for, but Dr Blight from Captain Planet is sort of like this, with half of her face literally cracked and torn off in a Two Face from Batman esque horror image.

Sorry I am a terribly weak person and I couldn't resist, this is what popped up in my head the first time I read the thread title. As for contributing to the actual request I am afraid I will be of no help since i am not overly familiar with comics... again sorry but I couldn't resist

On the same topic, if your attempts to locate the face are unsuccessful, you are most likely looking at the Slender Man (http://theslenderman.wikia.com/wiki/Slender_Man).

Your best course of action in such a scenario would be to turn on your flashlight and run away really fast.

You guys are cracking me up, for realz.

Slender Man (http://theslenderman.wikia.com/wiki/Slender_Man).

Slenderman doesn't impress me; granted I haven't seen the original MarbleHornets thing, but from the description he seems like a very generic bogeyman type that's been absurdly overhyped, as if there was nothing more frightening in the entire world than being stalked and killed. While I'm not hard to startle or creep out, I have a very high bar for actual terror, and I don't think even an actual knife-killer would bother me, let alone a pretend one. Although Slendy did inspire a homebrew I rather liked (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=14338138#post14338138), so not a total loss at least.
