If I were to store my light crossbow into said glove....could I store it loaded...dmg says a single item of up to 20 pounds and it must be able to be held with one hand....

Yes, you can store it loaded. Heck, you can even store a lit torch, and it won't burn out while in stasis.

But you don't want a Glove of Storing. You want a Glove of the Master Strategist from Ghostwalk. Works exactly like a Glove of Storing, plus true strike 1/day, but only costs 3600 GP.

You can hold and fire a one-handed crossbow with a single hand, therefore I can't think of any reasons you wouldn't be able to store one in a glove of storing.
