If I am a Master of Many Forms Wildshaped into a War Troll and I activate the ring would I become a Halfdragon War Troll
Or would I just become a war troll who is now immune to sleep and paralysis
Darkvision and some temperorary extra hit points?

The ring saying you become a half-dragon is fluff. The crunch is the list of traits, which does not include assuming the Dragon type, but does include claws and bite, breath weapon, immunity to cold, and ability bonuses. The transformation also gives +4 natural armor, but since this is not specifically a +4 bonus to existing natural armor it is ambiguous whether it would stack. The rest is independent of form though.
