This is a new race I'm working on. It seems I like making races more than I like using them. It's getting late so I'll add more flavour in the morning.

Grauks:
The origin of these nine foot tall gobliniods is somewhat of a mystery but most scholars believe them to be magically forced Hobgoblin-Ogre hybrids. The Grauks themselves claim to have been divinely created out of the mountains during the most recent "time of troubles". They are most noted for their toughness and love of senseless brawling.

Appearance: Grauks have grey skin with dusty brown body hair and average eight and a half to nine feet tall weighting 400 to 500 pounds. Their heads are nearly bald and are often marred by a half dozen minor scars. Grauk tend to dress plainly in hides leather or crude woolen clothes. Chieftians or religious leaders (often one in the same) wear iron or bronze ornaments and often a great horned helmet.

~+2 to Handle Animal Checks: Grauks are surprising good when dealing with animals.
~Brawler: Gain Improved Unarmed Strike as bonus feat. Take only a -2 penalty when using improvised weapons.
~Long Throw: +50% Range increments for throwing weapons.
~Favored Class: Barbarian
~ECL +2

Edit Oct 30th: Added Appearance Stats not adjusted

Too weak, I think, even with all the bonus feats. An ogre is equal ECL to this, and the extra +6 strength and +3 natural armour outweighs the other bonuses.

What about getting rid of some of the HD?

Yeah, that'd work. Bugbears have 3 HD and +1 LA, so this can be halfway between them and ogres.

Edit: Since this is a goblinoid, it should have +4 to Move Silently.

Okay so here's the plan.

4 Racial Hit Dice ---> 3 Racial Hit Dice.
Str +4 ---> Str +6 I agree that they should be stronger but I don't want them Ogre Strong.
Natural Armor +2 ---> +3
Stone Cunning (as Dwarf): To lend support their creation story.
Unarmed Attacks can be made at 5ft or 10ft. I'll add it on their brawler trait.
