What?

What are you talking about?

Can you give us some more context?

Where did you find it?
I know who you mean, Marvin of course, but where did you find the flaw?
Edit: Oh, of course. Where else.:smallyuk:

Ya thats the flaw any thoughts on how to get 25 int with 1 lvl of commoner and still be a construct

I should note its actualy a ecl 7 character but his first lvl has to be commoner.

I mean come on when a player askes you "can I play a overly depressed construct with chickens always falling out of me"

How can you say no?

Methinks perhaps the "April Fools" pane on the left side of the page.

Well, I suppose a Warforged commoner with 18 intelligence could, theoretically, get their hands on a Candle of Invocation and a +6 Intelligence Item, and gate in some creature that grants wishes, and wish for +1 to intelligence. Voilą, 25 intelligence construct 1st level commoner.

If you as the GM are willing to allow the flaw then just handwave the pre-req down to something more reasonable.

Oh c'mon be realistic. How many clinically depressed robots do you know that don't have very superhuman intelligence :smallwink:

But yes I don't really understand the prereqs. Can't humans that are not geniuses be clinically depressed too?

Yes, because an april fool's, homebrew flaw is perfectly acceptable for normal games...

Don't do it. It's a horrible flaw, I've played it. It makes you 100% completely f***ing useless in roleplay encounters, and basically require you to be completely silent if you want to succeed. Seriously, with social skill modifiers that deep in the negatives, he'll pretty much have to fall asleep between combats, or put on his best Keanu Reeves impression ("whut?" "Huh?" "What reason is that?") and hope for the best.

If he wants to be Marvin, go for it. But NEVER use this flaw, unless he's the type who plays Halo the whole session and doesn't remember his characters' name. Or the type who just sort of silently occupies a chair because he's someone's friend or significant other.

An April fool's homebrew flaw from D&D wiki. Tell the player to sit in a corner and think about what he did.
