I'm familiar with a lot of D&D mechanics, but I've run into some issues I am not familiar with.
1. I've never made an Ultimate Magus before. (Beguiler+Beholder Mage for the win) does the extra spells from high intelligence apply to one side, or both?
2. Same build, I've managed to take both Beholder Mage, and Beguiler to full progression (ECL 31. Beguiler 20/Beholder Mage 10). However, even after taking 6 levels in Quasi-Deity(no spellcasting bump, but all sorts of other tastiness), I'm still 1 level away from the ECL I'm shooting for. . . can you stack +1 Spellcasting level when there is no base class you've got that has any more levels of spellcasting?
3. If you can't, or even if you can, what 1 level dip do you all like?
Beguiler3/ Beholder mage 2/ Ultimate Magus7 / Initiate of the sevenfold veil 7/ Dweomerkeeper1/ Archmage3/Loremaster 1/ Quasi Deity6/
I know, Beholder Mage is crazy cheesy, but let it pass, I'm working on the scariest arcane caster with no infinite loops, no epic spellcasting, and no leadership :)
