Playing an undead has a lot of benefits, but always comes with the Turning flaw, and I'm having serious trouble with those Clerics.

I'm looking for spells and items, not feats, that might help turn resistance. Preferably for a cheap cost, and one-time use are just as good. Forgotten Realms, Eberron, Psionics, Incarnum, even a few 3.0 books, everything is pretty much legal except BoVD and BoED.

Many thanks in advance.

Bagpipes of the Damned (LM), Cloak of Turn Resistance (LM or MIC)

Wouldn't you need to be actively playing the bagpipes? :smallfrown:

There's also Greater ring of Desecration [LM].

Maybe I should have just asked for ways to increase turn resistance in general... I'm playing a wizard so if there are spells... but they all seem to be for clerics.

Edit: made changes to first post.

You could get a cleric with the correct spell to assist in making a custom magic item.

Armor of Darkness (Darkness Domain Spell)
Ghoul Light (Hunger Domain Spell)

Oh, hey, Armor of Darkness item... not a bad idea. It lasts 10min/level too, so I just need a wand and a decent UMD.

Get a vest (masterwork)
Find someone with Craft Wondrous Item + Armor of Darkness
Spell Effect, continuous use = Spell level × caster level × 2,000 gp (if the duration is 10 minutes/level, multiply the cost by 1.5)
So...4 x 7 x 2000 x 1.5 = 84000 gp
