Would you build a binder? A fighter? Heck even a DragonFire Adept?

Warlock. Shoot myself in the foot for free healing.

Maybe something ToB or incarnum.

Oooh! Flavor choice: psion. The gods took away my magic so I developed something of near equal power as a great big finger to the gods.

My brother had great success with a karasite warlock.

Psion as above, but a Spell to Power Erudite Psion/Full Manifesting PrC just to spite the gods.
