I'm an officer and committee member with the gaming club on my university campus. We're UT-BASH (or the University of Toledo's Benevolent Adventurer's Strategic Headquarters) and we're from Toledo, Ohio.
I'd say we're pretty successful; we've been around since 1979, and we host an annual gaming convention called BASHCON. It's not huge, but it's not small; we average something around 1,000 to 1,400 attendees each year.
I want to hear from other people and what their experience is with gaming clubs. Have you heard any real success stories or the like? I'm curious to hear what people's experience with gaming clubs is.
