I was looking through the PGtF and found the Force Ladder spell. A force ladder is a "Movable" ladder made of force. The first thing i thought of was the improved improvised weapon feat from DLCG and the cleric class. Now how badassed is a cleric with a permenant force ladder (or a similer custom magic item) putting the smack-down on those pesky ghosts. It's like the ghostbusters but with more ladder related violence.:smallamused:

Ghostbusters reference is pure win.

I see no problem with what you are suggesting. You could probably even come up with a slightly higher level spell that had a very long duration, maybe extend it to have a ladder that lasts all day.

Problem with antimagic fields, but no more so than any other type of everyone that relies on magic.

Why does this remind me of Jackie Chan?

In SpC Force Ladder is immobile.

I'm sure for this a reasonable DM will disregard that in your favor. I mean, come on, your going into battle with a ladder, surely he can cut your a small break.

If you watch "Doraleous and Associates" then you will know that this is what ladder guy should've been, and in PGtF it says "movable".

SpC is a later source than PGtF — YMMV
