I'm building a Dex based Mr. Hyde vivisectionist alchemist (Vivisectionist 2/Swordsage 1/Vivisectionist 2/Barbarian 1/Master Chymist 2/Vivisectionist 6/Master Chymist 6), and I was wondering if you grand folks in the playground could give me a hand on feats. So far I have:

Craven (1)
Skill Prodigy (flaw)
Weapon Finesse (flaw)
Shadow Blade (3)
Extra Rage (6)
Staggering Strike (12)

which leaves room for two more.

What can you use of 3E material, and what is your starting level? If it's not 15 or whatever....I would take Staggering Strike as soon as possible, not wait till 12.

If you get Agile (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/magic-weapons/magic-weapon-special-abilities/agile) property on your amulet of mighty fists (you don't need a +1 first!), you can save the feat on Shadow Blade. Or take it and get 2x dex to damage (since agile replaces str w/ dex, and hadow blade adds dex on top of str to damage).

You could also potentially save that feat on extra rage. In the 3E Spell Compendium, there's a level 2 druid spell called Blood Frenzy. Simply put, the target is able to use his rage class feature w/o expending a use/day. Now, back in 3E, rage lasts 3 + [improved by rage] Con mod rounds and was per day, so...how your DM implements that into PF's rage system I have no idea. But, it's a low cost wand to hit yourself with instead of the feat.

Alternatively, if you're *not* going Urban Barbarian for the dex boosting rage (I'm sure you are, though), there is the Wild Rager archetype. It is awful for Barb 20, but great for a dipper like you. It....gives you free rage rounds per day, just for going confused (as long as enemies keep attacking you, you hit back, no need to roll on the table)! You also lose access to rage powers...oh wait, you have none! :smallwink: And the DC scales with barb level, so for you it is super easy to pass, but you can still opt to fail it intentionally, so you have 95% control over when to be in it and when not to be.

if you happen to be a Goblin, check out the Roll With It (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/roll-with-it-combat-goblin) feat. Pretty awesome. My current goblin Viv. has it. Goblin is a good dex-based warrior race, what with the +4.

PF also has the Sap Adept and Sap Master feats, which are nice if you can make nonlethal bludgeoning attacks (Bludgeoner feat or Merciful property on the amulet of mighty fists). Along the same lines... if you happen to have 15 charisma, the Imperioud Command (http://www.realmshelps.net/cgi-bin/featbox.pl?feat=Imperious_Command) feat is phenominal for any melee character. And you could use Enforcer (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/enforcer-combat) to inflict it without missing a beat on your full attack. Should you want to do the Enforcer + IC combo but not the sap adept/master combo, note is is MUCH easier to get nonlethal slashing than it is bludgeoning. As long as you're willing to pay lip service to the right god (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/religion-traits/blade-of-mercy-goddess-of-dawn) (most PF PCs get 2 traits for free, and if not, you can get 2 per feat w/ Additional Traits feat, still making it cheaper than a feat).
