Wis boost race

Im playing a Ki Fighter (its home brew) and i need stats to essentially help a monk, preferably really high wisdom.

If your DM allows Lesser Aasimar, they get +2 wis and cha for +0 LA. Charisma isn't especially helpful, but races with wisdom boosts are pretty rare.

Make sure your DM allows Lesser Aasimar first, however.

He will, he has played one that was a Sorcerer before. Im just trying to find something other than that, and i REALLY dont want to play an Anthropomorphic bat lol

The Jermlaine (MM2) also gets +6 to Wisdom. Most DM's won't allow them, though. Plus, they look ugly.

I think Buommon (Planar Handbook) get a Wis bonus. Add Dragonborn of Bahumat to get rid of the "can only speak by humming" thing.

Other than Lesser Aasimar and Jermlaine, I think anthropomorphic bat is the only other way to get a Wis bonus on a LA +0 race.

The Tortle race from Dragon magazine get a bonus to wisdom. For obvious reasons, they make great swordsages...













(Because they have a wisdom bonus.)
