Does anyone know of an online list, preferably in text format (not PDF, something I can write a program to read easily) that has absolutely ever 3.5 official spell ever? I'm working on a random scroll generator and I'd hate to do this manually, and the SRD just doesn't have enough.

I don't know if it has every spell. But it has a damn good lot of them, all seperated by class. Ultimate Spell List (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19538942/Ultimate_Spell_List)

When you finish it, link us to it, would ya? Sounds useful.

This one probably does not contain all ether, but it sure got a lot of the spells (http://www.imarvintpa.com/dndlive/Index_LevDom.php). Use it a lot myself to find out where spells come from.

That first list has a heck of a lot, though it's going to be hard to parse (I'll need to make a crawler to deal with it). But it's a good start, thanks!

...this is going to be a heck of a lot of work I think.

Spellforge (http://www.nzcomputers.net/heroforge/default35.asp)has a fairly large list to get you started.

WotC has a spell index (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/spells) but it's only PHB and SpC.

Yeah, WotC's lists are useless to me... the whole point is I want a random spell generator that isn't just core!

d&d tools (http://dndtools.eu/spells/) has a spell list with more than 3000 spells, but it also includes duplicates. It's not in text format, though, and it includes maneuvers.

Wow, that's very complete. I could probably make a crawler to get all that info, too. Sounds fun.

The old Candlekeep Indexes had a pretty complete list. It IS in PDF format, though, so I don't know if that would be any good for you.

Would a converted to plain text form of The Spell Book (http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=5044) be good enough for you?

Perhaps if it had anything in it it would be useful?

But yeah, I don't know how to deal with PDFs.

EDIT: Just realized I probably shouldn't do that, check your PMs.
