Hey,

I just found out on another forum that I read that Larry Elmore's putting out a nice 300+ page full color artbook via kickstarter plus 6 8x10 prints of some of his popular prints (the original dragonlance covers and the original basic and expert D&D covers). I figured there's probably other people here who might be interested as well, so I just figured I'd post. The kickstarter ends Dec. 31st, so you only have like 4 days from now. Its not a bad little buy, so I figured I'd "pay it forward" in case there's anyone else like me here who'd be interested (nothing sucks worse than finding out after the sale is over).

One small correction, the art isn't the original basic and expert covers, they're the later edition ones (with the warrior on foot fighting the red dragon and the warrior on horseback fighting the green dragon). The 6th print is from the D&D Companion cover.

That said, it's still an awesome deal. And for those with a bit more cash, the upper end rewards include some of his original paintings.

I think there's a particular thread somewhere where you can post Kickstarter projects here. I believe it's run by Mark Hall. Since the search function for the forums is currently done, you can PM him and he'll link it to you.

Larry Elmore's stuff is always pretty cool! He's also gonna be doing something for the 200th issue of Knights of the Dinner table coming out next year. Pretty excited for that.

I saw a mention that it is more than that - Snarfquest is going to be headed to the pages of KODT too.
