Help me find this monster... it looks almost exactly like Ultraman. What is it/what book?

Ultroloth is sort of Ultraman-esque. Any other details you remember?

My main guesses would be the aforementioned ultroloth (file under "y" for "yugoloth") in the picture from Monster Manual 3, or maybe the zodar from Fiend Folio? I remember a much better 2nd ed. zodar pic, but can't quite see whether it looked more or less like ultraman.

Only other guess might be quarut inevitable, also from Fiend Folio. Runic guardian from Monster Manual 2 has a very sentai-esque pose, but the eyes are all wrong.
