I was just curious as to if there were plans for a new Sub-Forum for D&D Next/5e.

If not, is there an appropriate place for posts in regard to that sort of topic?

At present this is the right place to ask 5e questions, though questions about the right place or new subforums probably go in Board/Site Issues.

AFAIK, it's not on the prioriry list.
(I recall I've read it somewhere, but I cannot find any link)

The Mod Wonder: Not an official response, but a kneejerk one. I would not expect an official 5e subforum until 5e itself is fully released. At this time, the best place to look for that discussion is the 5e threads that are on the General RPG forum.
