[Skip to the bottom if you want to get through the boring explanations]

Okay. So I'm involved in a solo PbP (hello, new GiantITP user here by the way) game where I am playing a modified Dragon Shaman (http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Dragon_Shaman_(3.5e_Class)) provided by Doctor Seymour. I've been playing from level 1, character is now level 3. I had just discovered Unearthed Arcana's Bloodlines when making the character, and so I stuck on a Gold Dragon Major Bloodline. Character is now level 3, and currently has 2 Shaman levels and 1 Bloodline level. Character will soon be going into Battle Scion once she makes her legacy weapon.

My question for you all is how to round out the character in the meantime. I was looking at Gishing the character since having some defensive magic couldn't hurt. To that end, I've been looking at the Abjurant Champion. I'll clarify everything below:

Current Character-

Levels: 2 Dragon Shaman / 1 Bloodline
Feats: Power Attack, Exotic Weapon Proficiency (will be retrained) and Combat Casting (useless for now, prereq for Abj. Champ)
Stats: 18, 14, 15, 14, 14, 13 (I got really good rolls)
Equipment: Bastard Sword & Light Steel Shield (Legacy weapon will be greatsword)

Build projection-

The game is expected to go into epic levels, so I've put together the following build to level 21:

Dragon Shaman (http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Dragon_Shaman_(3.5e_Class)) 2/Sorcerer 1/Abjurant Champion 5/Battle Scion 10/Bloodline 3

How does that look? Could it be done better? Further, what feats should I retrain for, and what feats should I get in the future? Since this is a solo game, I need to fill as many roles as possible.

Something like this would help:

Level 6-[Feats / Notes / Tips]
Level 9-[Feats / Notes / Tips]
Level 12-[Feats / Notes / Tips]
Level 15-[Feats / Notes / Tips]
Level 18-[Feats / Notes / Tips]
Level 21-[Feats / Notes / Tips]

I'm still somewhat new to DnD, but I understand a lot of the core mechanics. I'm just not a master at building characters very far ahead. GiantITP seems like the best place to get help (I've lurked here for a while) with this sort of deal and would appreciate any advice.

Anybody have any suggestions? The character is getting close to leveling up.

Would you care for a Shameless Swift Blade (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/prc/20070327) plug?

Also, if you have the Dragon Magazine Compendium, magical Bloodline feats give you spells known. Combined with Versatile Spellcaster to cast 1 level higher than you normally could.

Have a good BaB? Get an Improved or Dragon Familiar! (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/prc/20070327)
