So I'm in a psionic-themed E6 game, and I'd like to build a skills-focused character who can still kick butt in combat. Right now I'm thinking Warforged Scout with the Psiforged feat (I got my DM to change the -2 cha penalty to a -2 on all Charisma checks with nonwarforged, reasoning that the fluff is about not relating to others, not having a lack of force of personality),
For the build - Rogue 1/ Psionic Artificer 5. I'm thinking of focusing on archery for combat, with sneak attacks where available being supplemented with a bane bow, or flaming if there's a variety in enemy type.
I guess I'm just looking for overall advice in how to effectively build a psionic artificer skillmonkey. What should I focus on? Is ranged combat viable?
