Let's Play Pokémon Emerald 386 Nuzlocke!

I know it is a pretty crowded bandwagon; but meh I want to do it either way.

Here are the rules that I will be following during my attempt.


Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released.
Must catch the first Pokémon that appears on each route (If by some struck of luck I see a Shiny Pokémon this rule will be waived)
No duplicate catches
All important battles (Gym Leaders, Rival, Magma/Aqua Leaders and Elite 4) will be fought with the same amount of Pokémon
White Out=Game Over
All Pokémon in team should be within 2-3 levels of the highest leveled one



Before I start I want to mention that I will be playing Emerald 386 a hack that enables all 386 Pokémon up Gen III, in order to have some more variety. Currently I don't know if this affects the NPC trainers team so it is sort of a blind run for me. Due narrative purpose I already selected my starter; but you guys can choose any Pokémon for my Rival (thanks to the handy Advance Starter)

What are the choices for the rival's pokemon?

Any pokémon is fine.

What pokemon did you start with? In the interests of fairness, one of the three normal starters of a type you're weak against.

That would by Nidoran m and going by the weakness of poison (and later on ground) Mudkip is the best option.

Seedot name Goku or Acorn (you can decide).
I named mine Acorn on Emerald so I like that name for it. Wants to be prove he is strongest than everything. Is upset if you let others fight instead of him.

Name Zigzagoon Koward, he doesn't know the K doesn't make the word cooler. Loves letter K. Won't use letter C (replaces with K) when speaking.

Lotad? Name is Mister Tibbs, Lazy, complains about everything, hates fire type
