I've got to say, when it comes to creating things, I am a writer. Not necessarily a motivated one but I write stuff, I make worlds I create characters and throw them at each other.
I am awful at art. Hence why I teamed up with a friend to write my web comic The Hereafter (http://www.the-hereafter.co.uk) and it works quite well.
However I don't know any more comic artists and I cannot draw. Yet I want to start another webcomic. Should I just try and make it myself and see what happens? If i keep trying, I will surely improve, yes? Just take a look at Questionable content! How important is art for you when reading a web comic? And do you think I could start a comic with just pencil, markers and a scanner?
