If your a good cleric and you have to use magic circle against good, to bind an angel , does that seem more of an act of a Evil cleric , or can you be more generous and ask nicely and give it the option to return back if you want, and do you think that would dodge the possible alignment damage?

Is there a limit to how much you can bind at any one time much like undead HD for necromancers.

Clerics dont get planar binding, they get planar ally, which is the ask nicely version of planar binding and doesnt require a magic circle

To answer your second question: no, but there is a time limit on magic circle (day per caster level) which will probably limit you eventually

All of this will vary depending on what your DM ends up doing with your binds though

You don't have to use magic circle VS good to bind an angel. Vs law or chaos will work just fine.

If you're of a good alignment and intend to make a fair trade with the creature, however, actually binding them shouldn't be necessary. Use the planar binding spell to get it there then conduct a peaceful, rational negotiation with it. Save a few spell-slots and some effort.

There is no limit on the number of creatures you can call to the material plane at one time. Only the number and level of spell-slots you can use to cast the calling spells can limit you.
