Im thinking of playing a Neanderthal Barbarian// Primeval for an upcoming campaign. Any thoughts from the Char-Op crowd on a build?

I think the Bearington Bearman BearBearian build would make you as strong as a bear, but that's bearly a fighter.

Barbarian/Primeval/Frostrager/Fist of the Forest is apparently good. I played a Neanderthal using a build like that for a while and it was pretty fun.

I suggest choosing dire ape as your primeval form. Being very similar in shape to your natural form, the only equipment that should meld into the new form is armor. This circumvents the usual problem associated with melees changing shape; their equipment no longer working.

You could maybe go into frenzied berserker while focusing on power attack to emphasize the whole big stupid fighter thing. Of course, if you go into frenzied berserker, you'll need some method of not killing your whole party.
