Mystic Ranger and SotAO

If you do it right, I've read in many places that it's gorgeous up to level 10 but no one talks about post level 10. If I were to play one and the campaign were to go beyond level 10, how could the Ranger keep up his cool points in combat? Do they even lose cool points?

Use the Wildshape Simple Ranger Variant ACF (UA) and go into Master of Many Forms (CAdv) at level 11.

Another option is Mystic Ranger 12/ Swordsage (ToB) 2/ Telflammar Shadowlord (UE) 6. This set up works nicely as a shadowpouncer.
